I had a lovely experience with Dr. Pierson. It was a great appointment. However, the staff gave me misinformation about my insurance claiming the specific appointment I had was covered. Despite me asking several times on several days (pre- and post- appointment) if my insurance information was correct, if a medical eye exam was covered with my insurance, and if the physician I am seeing is also covered. The staff said yes on all of those occasions and now I was charged $500. I tried to reason with them that this is not my fault but rather an error on their end, but it resulted futile. If you are going to be seen here, please check directly with your insurance and the staff (multiple times!) before going to the appointment. Other than that, I had a lovely experience with the physician and medical professionals! Just be diligent and cautious with your information and make sure the staff does not dismiss your case to make things quicker.

I never expected a Dr. Visit to be fun but this was. Charming doctors and diligent staff. I do and will continue to recommend them to anyone I know in need of eye care.

In September 2022 I came here for a 2nd opinion, and I am glad I did. Due to their quick actions and caring staff my vision was not a complete loss. Every time I am here, I am treated like a person, not a number. In this short time period, I have been treated/seen by 3 doctors, Dr. Bronner, Dr. Pierson, Dr. Horst, and numerous techs and even the optical department, and have not had a negative experience. I brag about this place every chance I get! This place and the staff are part of the reason I still have some of my vision. I will forever be grateful for everyone here and will continue to brag about them and refer people to them every chance I get. Thank you everyone at Berks Eye!

I was having difficulty seeing with my new glasses. Went back several times and several people tried several adjustments. When I was still having trouble, they ghosted me. No return calls after numerous attempts.

My eyes have not returned to normal following dialation 2 weeks ago by Dr. NicholsI have been given no answers and have received no follow up call. Their eyeglass facility does not promptly respond nor answer the phone. Obviously, this place is all about making money. Get your rx and go online for eyeglasses or contacts and avoid Dr. Nichols.

Went for a diabetic eye exam on a Monday. First visit to this practice. Attending MD was Dr. Nicholas. Had to have my eyes dilated, so the entire appointment took 1.5 hours. Dr. Nicholas was pleasant and professional. The place was very busy. The assistants who performed the preliminary testing were, for the most part, courteous, but overworked.
Facility was clean and check in and out was good.

They saved my vision after being diagnosed with wet macular degeneration!

Appointment went as well as such appointments can be expected to, but the carelessness with which they treated me afterward should not be accepted. I'm disappointed in myself for trusting them.
