Despite the fact that our claim was denied, we appreciate how thorough and how well the evaluation process was conducted. Tara Fintel was our agent. She was extremely conscientious and helpful. We are very grateful and only wish that Berkshire Hathaway Guard had decided to continue it coverage of California residents like us.

I AM an Agent (37 years) had my E&O with this company as well as being a licensed Agent with this company. This IS THE WORST company I ever had the displeasure of being associated with in my entire career. I was in Management with Allstate and Nationwide as well as being an Owner/Agent of two (2) agencies.
Do yourself a favor - Do NOT put yourself through trying to deal with this company. Never had less professional service ever. Two (2) plus weeks to try and handle what should have been a 10 minute conversation. You will never get the same person on the phone IF you get anyone on the phone. Go with an Agent you can talk to face to face. Go with an established reputable company.
This is neither.

Claim with GUARD is quick and easy. Representative is very pleasant to work with and very responsible. He got back to me promptly with my questions and inquiries. He understood the issues well and was able to get the claim settled quickly.

I would like to express my gratitude for the exceptional assistance I received from Emily McDade at your company. I have been a customer since I purchased my house in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, after three years, I encountered an unfortunate accident and required the help of the company. The night of chaos was immediately eased after speaking with Emily. Her calming demeanor and willingness to address all of my concerns allowed me to navigate through the situation.

Our claim was a mess, delays, miscommunication, everything that can happen in any type of claim, but Jodi Zaremski and Brittany Hemphill were angels!
