Best Western Plus Poconos Hotel, Tannersville PA

I booked it thru a third party and opted for king. The hotel was nice and said they would fix it free of charge and charged me 69.00 after I left and then refused to fix it.

Honestly this is very disappointing if there was no star options i have given them 0 star they are totally scam they try to rip people off they charger you extra money even if you booked from third party

From check-in to check-out, every person working who I encountered was beyond polite and welcoming. We came as a last minute mini getaway to enjoy an indoor pool since the weather has been blah and will continue into next week. The pool was warm and with the exception of one other family, we basically had it to ourselves. I like that it was surrounded by windows because it “almost” felt outdoorsy.
While I can’t speak for every room, our room was clean, and I appreciate having a fridge and microwave. The shower water warmed fast. It wasn’t luxury hotel beautiful, but it was clean and that’s good for me.
Breakfast was surprisingly satisfying. I was honestly just expecting some breads and pastries, but there was that plus eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles and yogurts/ packaged fruit.

Deceptive, stay at the water park or casino or they will charge you the same to stay here without telling you

Rooms doesn't match photos online. Front desk clerk have me wrong direction to my room. Booked a queen room but the beds were double beds. Carpet is outdated. Bathroom is very small.

The three stars was for the staff. Staff was welcoming and kind. So this review does not pertain to them in ANY way. However, the owner of this facility has done a terrible job at keeping up with repairs. Although it looked like the staff was keeping the rooms clean, they still felt dirty because everything seems so old and dingy. This place needs a serious upgrade. The photos must be old. I showered with flip flops and was happy my stay was limited to one night.

Stayed this weekend of June 16th to the 18th, 2023 with my two kids and my husband. Rooms are dirty, small, hallways are dingy. Very disturbed with the quality of the rooms. Sheets are stained, dirty! Office front desk staff, stated” we are so sorry, but it is above our pay rate” you will need to reach out to the VP. This was and is beyond unacceptable, for anyone to sleep or stay here.

Only 3 min from great wolf lodge. The buffet and mini mall is not far also. Rooms are soso. The pool is heated. They also have breakfast from 7-10.

Room had someone else's luggage in closet, took it to desk. Ac/heat didn't work. Got a phone call with man screaming on other end of phone at 11 pm. Screaming in hallway late at night as well.

When did hotels just start taking money and not offering service. At 200.00 a night, you should be getting fesh towels and your beds made. Even Motel 6 makes your room and gets you new towls.

Rooms do not match photos online. Rooms are dirty outdated and in disrepair. I have been promised a refund by hotel management multiple times over the course of several months and still have not received anything. The hotel is even ignoring Corporate inquiry and has zero regard for customer service.

This place is an absolute disgrace. The staff are not helpful in the slightest. The rooms are filthy and over priced. There was a huge hole in the back side of the building which was surely a safety hazard. They don’t care about their guests. Go stay at the days inn for half the cost and save yourself the headache.

Stayed with the family for a couple days and it was a WONDERFUL experience. The kids LOVED the heated pool and the service was PERFECT! I believe it was the owner who went to look for a crib for us and gave us a brief tour of where the amenities were located which was a nice personal touch! We were 3 minutes from the outlets and Great Wolf Lodge which was amazing to not have to pay 4x the amount for accommodations staying there and breakfast being included made it even more cost effective and delicious for our family! We had to check out a day early because the little one's were sick and wanted to go home but no complaints about the hotel and will definitely return in the future!

Concierge gave us misinformation about breakfast hours so we missed our free breakfast, room refrigerator was not working properly.

This hotel is extremely kid friendly. The breakfast that's included is always delicious and has many options. I travel to the area monthly with my family all year round. This hotel is in the best location to access shopping, family fun activities, restaurants, and easy on/off highway access. The staff is always smiling, kind and helpful. Save your money from staying at the resorts. Best Western continues to impress me and we will continue staying here!

I noticed my card was charged 3x so I spoke to the manager about it. He reassured me it would only be 1x. Sure enough it was chaged 2x. Now I have to call to dispute the second charge. Beware of the charges on your card when you leave. They are lying BTW in thier response. I did dispute with my credit card company and they have yet to respond and the reservation was under my name so there is no way they cant find my name on the reservation. Beware of your charges after you stay here!

Me and my bf booked a room for the weekend before vday.we ended up not even staying a night because we found a ROACH in our room! We left almost immediately after finding it. I was promised money back from my stay, at LEAST half of what we paid.so far, over 2 weeks later, I've had nothing but run around with the one woman I've actually been put in contact with, and still no money has been returned to my account.definitely will not be staying here again and will deter others from staying if I can.
