Best Western Plus University Park Inn & Suites reviews
20Only concern was how loud the fan in the hallway was once asleep wasn't an issue. The Continental breakfast was great and they have a machine that makes espresso and lattes.
Helpful on the phone before arriving. Simple and easy check-in. Clean, simple room with microwave and mini fridge. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. Comfortable and clean. Bathroom was adequate. Great water pressure and hot water. Noticed an area of peeling wallpaper and there was no exhaust fan.
The fitness room was very basic, but served its purpose. Indoor pool is small, but nice. Didn't use it though.
Great breakfast in the morning we were there. Loved the coffee machine where I could make my own Americano. Yum!
Was in town for 2 deaths in the family. Stayed with my mother and 2 boys. The kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast. The room was great and the service. The only problem we ran into was that someone was outside our door or on our floor smoking cigarettes. We had to put towels under our door to block the smell.
The location was convenient to stations and roadways. The room itself was clean and quiet. The shower had good pressure. The internet worked well without any slowness. I breakfasts were well stocked and had a good variety of things to eat. We needs more toiletries and the front desk clerk made a little baggy for us. The parking was well-lit and close to the hotel. Nice bright windows.
Theresa & Crystal were amazing with last minute heroics at 1 am after a 15 hour drive from Florida to State College.
Definitely a 5 Star staff!
This is a nice Best Western property. Convenient, modern and clean. It feels like it was recently renovated. The suites are a great size. Staff was friendly and professional.
The good is there is plenty of parking. But not much else. If you want any sleep you better hope and pray they will allow you on the top floor. Otherwise the noise from people walking around (and doing whatever else anyone does) will be very annoying. It's not a well built structure. Any noise from the hall also comes through the poorly fitted doors also.
The experience was great. I was greeted by the lovely manager at the front desk and she was so nice she went above and beyond expectations making sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will be staying again.
We were here for our daughter’s volleyball tournament. This hotel should be a role model for all others regardless their star ranking. Hospitality, amenities, location, all around management are perfect! We enjoyed our stay here just because of this hotel, definitely would like to come back and stay here for vacation next time.
I booked for 10 days really everything was fantastic stuff location, Room, cleaning, swim pool, housekeeping and breakfast. The best thing I liked at this hotel was the stuff. All of them are amazing, helpful, friendly, and always smile. They want to help you as you are at your home. All the best, thanks so much, Crystal and Ameinah. I can't thank you enough.
Maybe it’s because I’m from California but I have never experienced hospitality like I experienced here. Every single staff person we encountered we so nice and so helpful. I honestly am shocked at how nice they were. The room was clean but the walls thin (bring ear plugs). That is the only down side. Breakfast had way more options than most. I would definitely stay here again.
I very much highly recommend this place. From Ckng in to Ckng out awesome service.
Will come back again.
The staff was tremendous.the rooms are great.the hotel should be ashamed of the price gouging they do for football weekends.its criminal. But they known it and don't care.just going to count the money.
The rooms are big and clean.
The staff were very friendly especially Kevin he is very professional
Also Crystal the front desk worker, she is very helpful and nice.
I will definitely come back in the future!
If I may. Crystal at the front desk is very accommodating friendly and efficient. Room was immaculate. Gym could use more cardio. But definitely ideally located and convenient.
Paper thin walls when door shut it shakes the whole floor staff wouldn’t say anything to the kids running down the halls at midnight just a dive hotel for take a lady of the night to
Stayed overnight 9/4/22 - 9/5: Front desk staff was friendly, accommodating, and efficient, breakfast was subpar and had no potatoes and waffle mix was runny, pool is the size of a king-sized bed, "gym" is the size of a bathroom, no internal restaurant. Room was clean, tvs are not smart tvs (although they were advertised as such) so you're stuck watching the free channels and won't be able to stream your cell phone to the TV. Way too expensive for the meager amenities, it gets 3 stars only on room cleanliness and awesome front desk staff.
Night clerk was very helpful in getting us checked in. Morning clerk was a different story. She couldn't even print out a receipt for me. She kept claiming we went thru a 3rd party. Not true. Went directly thru Bestwestern. Other than A. M.situation, hotel very clean and breakfast crew was very friendly
Staff was friendly and attentive, however this hotel shows its age despite it's fairly recent updates. The rooms are more like those you'd expect at a roadside motel. The carpet reeked of old beer, visible water damage in the bathroom, peeling wallpaper, damaged furniture, stained beds, and the beds have really strange, small, square pillows rather than standard pillows. On top of the poor quality of the facility, the nightly rates were outrageous, and more comparable to what I have paid for high end suits in major cities.
This place is the best hotel in the area BY FAR! I've been to all of the local hotels; country Inn, Hampton Inn, and this place is the best deal. Don't bother with western they have the worst rates and staff of all, Hampton is also good, but this place has the best rates, the absolute BEST staff, Kevin is an amazing hotel manager and Cristina is the best receptionist I've spoken too. Spend your vacation here, it's a living dream:)
