Best Western Premier The Central Hotel & Conference Center, Harrisburg PA

Not sure how they are classified as a 4-star hotel. The lobby area was decorated beautifully for the holidays. Lots of poinsettias around the sitting area and large snowflakes hanging from the ceiling. I also liked how it was slightly dark and calming as you walked in. The room, on the other hand was not that great. Everything needs touch ups or a renovation. The window was disgusting. The AC/heat vent needed to be cleaned. There was a white stain on the brown mattress cover. The paint on the patio does was chipped and the outside light didn't work. There was a brown stain on the sheer curtain, stains on the walls, and the floor was uneven. Stayed here on a last minute get away to the Hershey and Harrisburg areas. Would not stay again.

Staff is always friendly. Yul is always a welcoming familiar face. The facility is clean and has some space to roam around. Indoor pool is nice and well maintained. O’Reilleys Pub also has friendly pours and accommodating staff.

Front desk staff on New Years Eve and Day we're exceptional. Rooms were clean and comphy. Food and staff at the Pub were great and the overall ambiance of the hotel was wonderful. Definitely would stay here again!

I stayed one night while traveling on business. Room was clean, king size bed was comfy and the shower had good pressure. There was a mini frigde and coffeemaker in the room. There was also a balcony that was big enough for a few people to sit outside. Not much of a view but the balcony was nice. Good happy hour in the restaurant (O'Reilly's) in the hotel and their food is really good. They open for breakfast at 7 AM and some mornings they have a breakfast buffet.

Great place for a Hockey tournament stay or with a large group. Especially during winter. Front desk is top notch and the staff from the restaurant is fantastic. With hundreds of kids running around the hotel, I give them a lot of credit.

I do have to leave a story that is incredible and I hope they read this.
When I arrived at the hotel a well dressed gentleman welcomed me to the hotel with my family. Great smile and great eye contact. You could tell he was confident. Really nice way to arrive. Anyway as we were leaving our room on the last day, I saw a cleaning crew not housekeeping per say coming by, typical sweatpants and a winterhat on, comfortable clothing etc. In the corner of my eye it was the man from the front desk! I was amazed. I stopped him in his tracks and he smiled. I said you are the guy from the front desk. I love seeing this. You want to learn every aspect of the hotel biz. Smart way to get to the top! He agreed and said I want to be a GM someday.

Great story to share and meaningful in so many ways.

PS- they really should look at opening the bar in the middle of the hotel again I think it’s a big miss especially if big groups are in town.

The best western premier conference center is just that as said the best, the staff quick and friendly to assist or remedy any situation the on site laundry and games are awesome but the pinnacle of their establishment is the indoor heated pool!

If this is a 4 star hotel how come they don’t got cameras anywhere like at all they got creeps who live in this hotel who constantly harass other guess and employees and plus to mention the prices for the rooms with no serious security measures with No cameras No food Not a good hotel

I can not guarantee that place is safe for human inhabitation, but it has a pretty cool lobby. Just don't get a room on floor 2, there's a sewer leak.

Wow what an awesome hotel and wonderful staff to make your stay even better. Restaurant on site has great food and vast select of adult beverages

Excellent! Great fir family and groups. O'Reilly restaurant is very good and waiters are so nice. We enjoyed it and the quality to price ratio is very good.
All the family recommends! The small plus is to have the bedroom with direct access to the pool! This is the 5 star and there is no extra cost ;-)

Checked in after long drive to rest up for even longer one. Very safe location. The gentleman who checked me in was very nice and helpful. Everything was clean. Rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The pool was awesome and relaxing. Bed was very comfortable. Definitely will be returning

This hotel is by far the nicest hotel I've stayed. We have stayed he the last for years it's a beautiful and very clean hotel. The staff at the hotel can't do enough for you to make your stay a pleasant one. As for the Bar/restaurant
food is and service is A plus. Have stayed he the past 4 years and are booked for next year.

Hotel was nice with a great pool. Staff was nice and very helpful. A lot of families so it was a little load. Didn’t get to try the restaurant due to being busy. Room could use some touch up. Front door keep sticking, towel bar came off and mattress had stains but had cover. Stay was good.

Great accomodations, awesome for families. The front desk were very friendly and helpful. Nice pool and lobby.
Appreciated the ice bottle water for 25 cents! Highly recommended.

100% enjoyed this hotel with my family. The kids loved the pool. Laundry facilities were handy. Staff was great! Beds and pillows very comfortable. Rooms were clean. Close to restaurants, supermarket, clothing stores, etc.within walking distance.

O Reilly's Irish pub / restaurant is in this hotel and it was great choice, food was fantastic (Sheppard pie, french onion soup, burger platter, Guinness beer) we all enjoyed very much. The atmosphere was fantastic with penn state game on. Staff was super and quick!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel space with a brilliant staff! We stayed for a concert at XL Live in Harrisburg but it is a perfect choice for a weekend in Hershey or Lancaster as well!

By far one of the best hotels we have stayed at it was spotless rooms were super clean indoor pool was amazing and Yul and Lindsey are the front desk took care of us as if we were Family. We will be back, this WILL be our got Hotel for all of our P.a. Visits. Thank you again
