Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg PA

This is the first time I have lived in a retirement community. I have made friends here and feel living here was a good option for me. I have a cat and am happy that Bethany Village allows pets.

I have found from the moment I moved to Bethany Village that if I was in need of stimulation of interaction with another person, I can leave my residents and find some way of being stimulated.

Stimulation can be as simple as walking down a hall way and observing the art that is provided or stopping to talk with someone. On occasion, it may be very quiet but you will always find an Associate that is willing to converse with you.

I feel very safe walking anyplace on campus. I had to learn that. I am so amazed by how pleasant it is to talk with any resident - everyone is very nice.

Moving here also freed my time from caring for my home. I have had opportunities to volunteer with outside organizations to do things I may have never thought of previously.

It has been a very good move for me!

I particularly enjoy the feeling of "community" at Bethany Village and the many opportunities to be engaged.

My wife and I have lived all over the country in some dozen different communities and we constantly marvel at what an amazing place Bethany Village is and how much we love being part of the community. The associates really care for the residents, and the residents are incredibly supportive of each other, and particularly those in need of help.
