BG's Value Market of Pine Grove

For how often they are constantly in your way blocking aisles restocking, you’d think things would be always fresh but multiple times I have mistakenly grabbed expired items or items that expire the very next day. Cheese that looked okay only to open it and find it covered in mold, meats are questionable as I JUST got home with fresh ground chicken I bought and I opened it up to find it smells like sulfureggs.

This store was very helpful in a tight pinch! We were staying overnight and wanted to get some quick groceries to make a meal at an Airbnb that we had rented not far away. Luckily, they had everything we needed to make a quick gourmet meal in a treehouse! The staff was helpful, the prices were fair, and the lighting was adequate! Lighting is rather important whenever you're going Grocery shopping, However, remembering to keep yourself within your budget at this place might be difficult because of all the tantalizing items they offer. Be sure to loosen the purse strings and come on down to BG's value market!

This is not rocket scientists. Get cheese. Instead of cutting a pound thin on top sloppy like. I don't care. Attitude! Get someone to. Cut say six slices layer it. New paper on top. Layer that row. And keep it going. Think? Why you on the. Clock. Don't. Care. Leave. We can replace. You with a. Monkey! ;!

BG is a great store to shop very friendly and usually have everything I'm looking for and if not I ask I love shopping at BG's

Great local grocery store, always have deli meat on sale, and a great variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as meat and rotisserie chicken. Always have had good service when shopping here.

I drive a truck so I drove from the pilot to hear about 4 MI from the truck stop.just one of those little hometown grocery stores look forward to trying the honey ham deli meat.

Stopped here to pick up a few grocery odds and ends. Had everything that we needed. Employees were really friendly. Store while small, was well-laid out. Was able to get a great assortment of very fresh fruit which was a win. Only complaint was that items were a little overpriced. Otherwise, would definitely come again.

Great little small town store! I've been shopping here for a very long time, and the store size isn't very big, but as you walk into the building you are completely seeing something different! This store has a hugh selection of products and the staff is always helpful, and polite. As we have all experienced things we want/need missing from the shelf during this man made pandemic, and have had to sacrifice just a little. This store has been doing everything they can to keep its customers happy, and trying to stayed stocked up.

Hands down the most helpful supermarket I've had the pleasure of frequenting great staff fantastic sales and again can't say enough about the staff! Update they are still outstanding there isn't a lot of places you can walk into 15 minutes before closing and get a warm reception instead of a dirty look

Awesome local supermarket. Have a great variety and just about anything you need. Everyone there is helpful and place is kept clean.

Most prices ere kind of high, but when something's on sale it's worth it. The deli staff and manager were very helpful and friendly.

Love this store! The only grocery store in Pine Grove with decent prices (to me anyway)! I can get diapers and wipes for the baby, stuff for dinner, and tobacco and tubes for my cigarettes all in one convienient little store close to my job or home! Defenitely the best prices in the area so ill keep shopping here!

Love this place. My go to place when I'm in Hershey. Subs are packed full and amazing.

Convenient, but a little jam packed hard to maneuvers around the store. If someone is in an isle it is hard for someone else to fit down.

Visiting Pine Grove, a pretty town. I liked this store; opens early at 7: 00 a.m. There were some very good sales, such as in the produce area. Given location and size of store, a good variety of items including things like almond milk, flax meal, etc, and traditional PA items such as Martin's Potato Buns and Tastycakes (another good sale today.) If one is buying processed packaged food, those prices (at least to me) seemed high as compared to a Walmart store.

I love shopping here.the kid's are always so helpful and so are the managers.now there was a girl doing the first register today, I never had her before but she wasn't the greatest. She bagged way too many items in one bag and with having the baby's.it was a nightmare carrying these bags in.if I had 25 bags of groceries, At least 10 of them busted on the way in.and I didn't try carrying 10 bags in at once because I knew they weren't packed right.so maybe she just needs some more training.it did seem like she didn't love her job and she didn't want to be there.she kept asking people if they wanted this in a bag or that in a bag. Like weird things.a carton of orange juice she asked the one girl if she wanted bagged.the girl looked puzzled but said she guesses not. I knew she did.and why wouldn't she.she had a giant order and this girl was asking about bagging or not bagging almost every other thing. I felt angry for that girl.and she also had a 2 year old or so along.common sense would definitely tell u to bag those groceries esp for a woman with an infant or toddler.

The boys who work there are 98 percent of the time totally friendly and polite.very quick to help.

Manager there actually helps people out to their cars with their carts and he really goes above and beyond for the customers.so does the other lady who might be a manager or asst manager.she's always kind and helpful.and she knows exactly where everything is and is very quick to help
I love this store.

Oh and I AM SO HAPPY THEY HAVE THE GARLIC AND HERB BUTTER BACK AT THE MEAT DEPARTMENT FOR SALE. IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! RED LION USES THIS butter to grill burger buns.make garlic bread etc. I called a few times to find out how much they would charge to sell a container maybe once a week or so and they acted like I was asking for free gold and diamonds lol.but now I have a place to get it and I'm thrilled.

Very small store that is almost ALWAYS very full of people. Selection is good and pricing is average/high. Staff is typically helpful and the store is clean

BG's was so busy today but the employees + cashier's got customers through in a timely manner. It was a good day shopping today!
