Bi Rite Cold Cuts, Philadelphia PA

I will not be returning to this Deli. My wife and I went to Bi Rite to get some cold cuts. We explained how we wanted it sliced. The ham was cut so thick I could have had for Easter dinner. Deli clerk was cutting the cheese in the ham slicer, which is fine had she cleaned it. It was just bad.

Good prices, Great food. Super friendly hard working owners! Thier cheesesteaks ate the best!

Bacon/egg/cheese sandwiches are v good. Lady making the sandwiches was pleasant

Do not purchase lottery tickets from this particular retailer. I had heard stories about deceptive practices here. Purchased tickets here for years and years and years… Finally hit for $1,000… They claimed they couldn't cash it despite having dozens of winning tickets photographed and taped up all over their display at the store. This is a small time outfit pretending to be big time. We did locate two better options for you in this very same parking lot. At the opposite end of this strip mall is an Acme store which is a lottery retailer and will pay out and also right next-door to the Acme is "Beer Baron" beer distributor who also are a PA lottery ticket and also said they would pay out. He said they have sold numerous $1000 winners and paid them out. Probably best to avoid Bi Rite Deli.

Really good cheesesteaks, friendly staff they even brought some pickles for free to our table.
Will come back again

This place is great for fresh quick breakfast, great sandwiches, reasonable prices, egg and cheese on a kaiser sounds simple but it's amazing how many terrible 1s I've gotten over the years at different places, bi rite has been on point, I grew up in this neighborhood and as far back as I can remember bi rite has been on point!

I come here for their fresh soft pretzels, other snacks and the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich! Highly recommend this place! Very delicious and clean.

My family has been supporting this neighborhood business for over 40 years. We buy our lunch meat, rolls etc every week. This week our Pepper Ham was rotten, obviously past it’s sell by date. I returned to the store the very next day and they would not make good on the ham. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN! I suggest you DONT EITHER.

I'm not one to do too much complaining, but as a loyal customer, I've given this place a lot of business over the last several years, just to be treated poorly when I was in a jam, and needed to do a virtual zoom meeting for class. I was about to purchase some breakfast, until the owner said I couldn't stay the duration of the zoom meeting, which was just for a couple of hours, yet other folks were eating in their cafeteria area while engaged in reading a paper, doing computer stuff, etc. Mind you this was a virtual meeting (just myself present not bothering a soul). Anyway I'm done ranting. I won't be back here. I highly doubt there is anything in Bi-Rite Deli's policy that puts a time frame on how long you are to be in the store. So I guess they would object to a person purchasing $5 worth of items of food every hour if they happen to be there for 8 hours (Figuratively Speaking, but it's the concept). After this experience, I got a different perspective of the owner. I feel that he's just out for your money and the little superficial things like what I've mentioned get taken for granted.

I usually have a good experience going there 2 buy my lunch meat & drinks & chips for me & my husband but 1 day i ask the old white lady behind the counter for the young guy who works there.well she grilled me with questions of y I am asking for that kid n she yelled at me n was very rude as if she was investigating y I come to ask for him.this old lady should NOT be working there she has NO MANNERS & SHE IS VERY RUDE & IGNORANT.
I left i don't want service from her.ill go back when the other nicer people r working there!
