Big Dog Coffee reviews
17Just had the Big Dog Daily Cold brew and it is DELICIOUS. Very balanced taste, no bitterness and very crisp. The owner also seem to be very engaged with all customers, knew the regular and created a very homely atmosphere.
Big Dog was everything I wanted in a coffee shop. The venue was spacious but not so much so that it invited a crowd, and had a mix of appealing artwork indoors and a green and cloistered outdoor patio that should suit many coffeehouse-goers. I had a seasonal daily mix that was served in a generous cup and I felt like it really set me up well to have a fun walk on the trails with my partner. I'd come back another time to take more photos of birds flitting about on the patio since they were really cute!
Such a cute cafe! Love that there is outside seating. Went one early morning, and had a nice cappuccino and oatmeal combo. Their oatmeal bag is so neat and customizable. Lots of options and the pastries were also very good. The pb cookie was soft and had a nice nuttiness too it. The people working there are also very friendly and give you good recommendations. A nice play to study or just relax.
All great (service & atmosphere), but regular (Black Cat Classic) espresso not balanced coffee blend - very high acidity. It means roaster master not enough qualification. Arabica blend balancing - it's really art. And of course, a glass of water, along with espresso, is taken from the tap. What's more, it's very clean inside.
They make an excellent flat white, are super friendly, and have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating suitable for both working and hanging out. They have ceramic mugs if you're eating in. What more can you ask for?
Great coffee and delicious homemade yogurt cup. I tried different coffees here. The Guatemala drip coffee is my favorite. The cappuccino is too mellow for my taste. The baristas are skilled and most of them are so friendly and nice. The place is quaint and cozy. I love it there:)
Came to Pittsburgh for work. Was recommended to go here for coffee. Became addicted and got it every day I was here.
The atmosphere is lovely with an abundance of beautiful art work and a charming homely mood. Saying that, I hope it’s not too much to ask for a clean table surface.
This place is a joke! 5 dollar cold brew coffee …… filled with half tap water? Never-mind the 8 pounds of ice they put in the cup…. Staff is rude as well. Bathrooms disgusting. We’ll stick with a coffee from sheetz.
This is the best coffee place in town (in my opinion). I’m not a coffee expert, but it just tastes so well rounded. They also sell some pretty amazing cookies. The ambiance is also very cozy and I can definitely see why people like to work in there. I always get the cappuccino and chocolate chip cookie.
Extremely good caramel latte. Consistently very high quality. I can trust I won't be disappointed here.
Cute local coffee shop! The vibes inside are immaculate and the food/drinks are great. It's a nice space to come and work from home or get some work done on the weekends.
Absolutely looooved this coffee shop! I used to stop in nearly every day for their gluten free selections. Both the drinks and food were phenomenal. Definitely stop in if you are visiting the area!
Such a wonderful coffee shop. Very comfortable atmosphere! Banana bread was very moist and delicious. It complemented the coffee perfectly.
My coffee was the perfect temp and delicious. They also have an oatmeal bar that I would like to try. It was a little difficult to find because it wasn’t super well marked/labeled/signed.
Favorite coffee shop in the city! They have everything you need. Tea, coffee, espresso, snacks, and cool art on the walls. The baristas are always super nice. The patio is also a very relaxing place to catch some sun, whenever it's actually out.
