Big Lots, Ephrata PA

This place used to be good. Was in just a couple days ago and experienced one of the poor employees having to deal with being on the register with another cashier due to being busy, but she also had to leave to go take care of furniture orders. Poor thing was so stressed to the point she was tearing up due to the manager not answering or even being around. Why be a manager if your not there for your employees? Very Poor management. Feel so sorry for the young woman who took on multiple roles at once. Not to mention a ridiculous amount of empty shelves. What is going on? Do better Big Lots.

Was in shock I purchased some outdoor Christmas lights and got home to take them out the box to set them up and the steaks that go into the ground already had dirt all over them.had to go back and exchange them. I don't know how they were on the shelf. I'm guessing they didn't work someone else returned them and somehow they ended up back on the shelf. ‍️

Love shopping at Big Lots. The Ephrata store is much bigger than Lancaster and has so much more to offer. I wish Lancaster would open a larger store. I would probably shop there for many more things.

I bought a piece of furniture on line. It came broken in places. I reached out four times to maybe get a partial refund. I got one response. I will never shop there again.

They have just about everything there, accept kitchen sink. Nice place to shop. Clean isles, looks nice

I was super impressed by big lots. First time shopping here, order tiki torches that were normally $35 everywhere else including eBay and got them for 15 here, AND got them delivered the very next day. Blew my mind, I now usually check BL before anywhere else.

No stock on shelves, dirty store and dirty bathroom. Check out was over congested due to the confusing maze they built out of shelves to herd customers in and completely unnecessary. Staff had little knowledge of when or if stock was avaliable online. Complete waste of time.

Awesome place with a little bit of everything. Went to buy an electric fireplace. Which was much cheaper than anywhere else. They helped load it into the car and gave a discount. Couldn't ask for more. Very pleasant experience. Definitely recommended.

Great customer service from Amy in the furniture department. She had our merchandise ready for when we arrived at the store.

The whole store has been updated, and they carry alot of new items including clothes name brand! Happy with my purchases.

First time shopper here, and I found enough items at discount that I had to upgrade from a hand basket to a cart. If I'd spent any more time in the store, I'd have upgraded the cart to a 53' trailer.

The store was brightly lit, fairly organized, and above all, clean. Staff were friendly, helpful and patient. Definitely shopping here again.

Not a bad store to shop @ The only reason for the 3 stars is that they are a bit over priced on summer outdoor furniture.
