Big Lots reviews
14Not much to say. It's a Big Lots. All the staff here has always been friendly. I don't shop here often. This time I just wanted to grab a quick box of Christmas cards without going to a busier store.
Lots of different items. Price is good. The environment is very nice ands the workers are very kind
I don't think they're interested in making a profit. They told me I could go to Leechburg to get a couch that they couldn't order one. Disappointed in Big Lots.
I always love to see what new items they've found. They have a great seasonal section that doesn't let you down. I also that they aren't shy about calling for backup cashiers.
My mom and I were shopping in there today. The cashier kept talking to the customer in front of us excessively instead of checking them out even after they were done she still continued to talk to them and ignored me when I put my stuff in front of her. They were being loud and annoying and she wasn't paying attention. I kept sliding my stuff closer and closer to get her attention because she was still turned and looking away while talking to the previous customer. Rude.
Bad policies, even worse supply chain.
They are selling gazebo's in-store that they don't have, I haven't received mine for 5 months. Its fine, it happens, but least put them on backorder and stop taking orders. Also, laughably want to charge a cancellation fee on an item they couldn't get in stock for 5 months. Look, every retailer is suffering from supply chain, but that gives you no excuse to sell items way beyond back order just because you work in the furniture department and get comped commission. I can't take this store serious for any item beyond the $100-200 mark, they likely don't have the item and just are not up to the caliber of supply chain for alternative stock items like you see with retailers like walmart, amazon, lowes, home depot, overstock, and wayfair etc. Biglots should stick to imitating the dollar general, and taking 3rd or 4th place at trying to do that. The company would have faired better the last 10 years. Too little too late, now you are the next pier one with none of the swag and all of the bankruptcy potential heading into the recession. Best of luck.
Stopped in to see a nice selection of furniture options and was also surprised to see they have a real nice Halloween display
Employees are always helpful and very friendly. They strike up a wonderful conversation to make you feel welcomed and appreciated.
I like big lots. Definitely the place to go for bins and containers. And home decor selection is awesome
You can find some decent stuff there.
Just make sure you look it at what you purchase before buying it so you don't have to turn around and bring it back.
Some areas of the store have moved and are now more organized. Clean store and kind employees.
Today I had the most helpful cashier at the Indiana, Pennsylvania location. She assisted me in using my rewards I had available to me. Her kindness saved me over 30 dollars on my order. She didn't have a visible name tag on or I would have gave her some recognition. She was a colored girl with a warm smile.
I hadn't been in here for quite a while, so I was impressed to see how much they had improved the store. Very clean, good prices on a lot of great products. Worth the stop.
First, the store was clean and not cluttered. I dislike going into some Family Dollar and Dollar General stores because you can barely walk around.
Although I didn't spend a lot of time in the store, they appeared to have a nice variety and selection of goods. I particularly like their jewelry section. They have hypoallergenic jewelry for $4 and $5 dollars.
The customer associates were very friendly.
