Big Lots, Chambersburg PA

Big lots in Chambersburg got this high of a rating because I really like Big lots in general. (Disclaimer: the better quality Big lots is the one in Hagerstown Maryland if you're willing to make the 30 minute commute.)

Store-wise: some things are a little overpriced here in the one in Chambersburg. Not a big selection. Has great couches, furniture, snacks, and merchandise overall. Great to go if you're trying to avoid CVS, Giant, Walmart, and do a stop-n-go shopping situation.

Looking at it from the environmental perspective it's not in the best neighborhood. The type of neighborhood where you have to lock your car doors twice and three times type of the neighborhood.

Eh, you win some you lose some. If you're a big fan of Big lots like me, none of stuff will really matter to you and you won't discriminate. You'll be up in the store all day.

Great place to shop for food grocery tools toys furniture grocery wise such as milk and a bunch of other stuff such as holiday items bathroom supplies

Always liking big lots.just um.minor details I guess. Nice stuff but definitely on the high end of the price range for us poor folks? Blessings to all!

Love this store! Always very clean and organized. Well stocked and if ya need help just ask. Now offering No Credit Financing for Furniture & they even have Fireplaces People.

Went in looking for an HD interface cable. Wasn't able to find it right away and finding an associate was impossible. Once I did though he was fabulous and pointed me exactly where to find it.

I was unable to find an employee to help me for 20 minutes. Once I found someone, he was very helpful.

They have a lot of things that people are looking for. Prices are Fairly good. They have a handy cap entrance but the door opens slowly. Not enough help. Waited 15 minutes in line because of the cashier made a mistake and didn't know how to solve the issue. They called for another cashier to help get the line moving. I was there during the slow period of the day. However most of the time I go there I don't have to wait long. Employees are nice and they do their best.

Not quite Walmart, not quite Ollie's. Give it a try. Home goods, furniture, gadgets, snacks, and more.

One of my favorite stores. They have nice things and good selection. The employees are always great. Helpful and very curteous, which you don't find much anymore.

My wife and I enjoy going to Big Lots, we especially like some their international foods. There is more in this store then one would imagine.

Great bargain shopping, with friendly staff, easy handycap accessable parking and entrance.

Linda in the furniture department was an absolute gem. Super nice and patient, had a smile on her face the whole interaction. Really worth visiting the store just to get assistance from such a kind person.

The only reason for the removal of a star was another associate that was working there. I unfortunately did not catch his name, but the way he carried himself and answered questions, I believe he may have been in management. This person was outright condescending and rude, while in front of customers.

Mostly minor issues, but notable. I saw a patron grab a cart, and he audibly said "seriously". I guess the cart may have been placed there for a reason. He immediately went up and moved a hand truck closer to the carts.

Then at checkout, this 'manager like' person was talking about Linda, saying "What is taking so long".

In all, I left with a positive feeling, but can't help but feel that this person may be missing some people skills. He may have been having a bad day or whatever, but I still felt he was unprofessional
