Billy's Downtown Diner reviews
18 Used to come here alot when there was the Allentown location, was much larger. On occasions I'll visit the Bethlehem location. The food is still amazing. Great coffee and coffee drinks selection. The tables for 2 are a tad small but in order to accommodate the patrons it had to be done. The staff is very friendly and service, wait times aren't that bad as the food comes out in a timely manner. Street parking sucks but there is an open lot across the street.
The is one of the few breakfast spots I would visit.
A small deduction as there are no hooks for jackets. When it rains, wet jackets are bad.
You should also choose a large table for two people.
Everything else very good
Love this place! We travel an hr to eat thete because we love their selections and presentation. Had the turkey bacon eggs Benedict. Delicious flavor! Can't wait to go back again.
Was recommended to us to eat here from my cousin and so glad we did. Food was amazing. Not in the area often, but when we are, we will definitely be back.
Wasn’t impressed. Service was not good food was over priced and extremely bland! Not worth the hype.
I ordered from door dash and was beyond disappointed. $15 for ONE PIECE of avocado toast…. I would’ve thought two pieces of bread at least. I added jalapeños and mushrooms to my home fries and there were neither, but it was clearly on the receipt. Spent an absurd amount of money on mediocre food and didn’t even receive what I paid for.
Billy's is a must eat if visiting or living in Bethlehem. Owners care about quality everything and work in the restaurants.
This is a great diner! Unique menu, great breakfast options, service was fantastic. We came in during a rush and the waitress and manager sat us down, apologized for the slight wait, and still got our food out quickly, hot and delicious. I highly recommend.
Below average experience each visit. Overpriced subpar food with small portions. Coffee NEVER gets refilled. Staffing issues. They don't let you alter your order. Not sure what the hype is? There are better alternatives. (Rated on 4th visit in 2023)
Went there this weekend. Food was sooo, soooooo good. I had the Cannoli Tower and my boyfriend had one of the omelets. We share our food. I can't tell what I liked better, all I know is we left there very full and satisfied. Our waitress was very friendly. She was definitely busy but did check on us from time to time. The only thing is that both the womens and the mens (according to my bf) bathrooms were pretty gross. Lots of toilet paper and water on the small room's floor and the hand dryer in the women's wasn't really working that great. I would definitely go back and I do recommend you try this place out! Yum!
My father and I stopped here after getting him out of the hospital. We both enjoyed a half of the California Turkey with a cup of the soup of the day, a delicious Corn Chowder.
The atmosphere was very modern and had great music playing, but there was a little bit of a gas like smell in the restaurant that was a little distracting. Might have been new paint?
Overall, cannot wait to stop in again to explore more of the menu.
You need to be in the money to afford that place but the food and service was great and it always helps to have an eye candy serving your table and and sharing your meal
The eggs benedict is a must have. The atmosphere is very clean, cozy, and modern. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend
Very unwilling to make even the tiniest adjustment to the menu. Leaving off the onion was a no no. Makes me think they make their food ahead of time. It was very odd.
First taste of Bethlehem. You can see downtown Bethlehem views from the street or sit inside comfortably. My nephew tried Eggs Benedict for the first time and is addicted. Lavender latte was not all that, but everything else was awesome. Service was very good.
Fantastic and one of the best breakfasts in the Lehigh Valley. Good, clean food and I never leave here feeling greasy. Very good service as well
This place was above average, the place is small which lessens the atmosphere; but it's cute nonetheless. The food is good, the hasbrowns are the only thing that brought it down. I appreciate their extensive menu, they have a lot of interesting coffees. The waitress we were with seemed a little stressed, which is the only reason I knocked it down a star. They worked that poor woman so hard. Their food actually has flavor, so I'd recommend it.
