Birdman Road Boat Launch, Hooversville PA

It was easy to get to and easy to use. Did exactly what it was meant to do. It was busier than expected.

The water authority is ruining the lake for boats. Mid June and they have it so low it’s getting hard to launch boats already. But there doing a great job supplying the power plant and surrounding areas

Concrete boat launch with a dock. Shallow water in this area may be difficult for some boats to launch here. Special regulations apply at this lake check before you come here. Area around the boat ramp is rocky and shale, could be rough on plastic kayaks.
The posted special registrations confused me a bit. The list of prohibited activities includes boating as prohibited.

Newer launch and at this point still free. It has some picnic tables and charcoal grills on site. Parking is tricky when fishing season is in because of all the boat trailers. Fishing isn't the best because it's one of the shallowest parts of the dam. Wouldn't recommend it as a fishing spot.
