Bishop's Corner Cafe reviews
15If you can come here, come here. Seriously good food, incredible people, exactly what you want. Can’t recommend highly enough.
On facebook, it appears are more of a trendy Diner than as noted on Google: A Bar.
Having said that, the food was good. I had no issues with anything I ordered. Arbys-Esque Mozerella sticks were a nice surprise. A solid grilled cheese and a surprisingly good pulled pork sandwich. Prices for basic sandwiches and appetizer food is competitive. For takeout, I'd rate this place a tenuous five-stars.
For sitting down, for food or drinks, the space was a bit cramped and looked a little uncared for in spots. Not bad. I'd sit down here with friends, if that was the spot. It just probably wouldn't have been anyone's first choice after stopping in once.
This is the true hidden gem of Greater Pittsburgh. Great food, great atmosphere. Come here for the Chili or the Turtle Soup.
Homey little neighborhood bar and grill. Fun and friendly staff. Not fancy, and that's the way they like it. Food is good, drinks are reasonably priced.
Nice local bar/restaurant, good food with fair prices, like music, what's not to like
Low-key place during weekday happy hours, gets a little more lively in the evening.decent food and a few craft beer options makes this place an easy choice after union meetings, as my hall is right up the hill.
Always a good time and great people. The owner and staff go above and beyond to provide great service and great food.
Food was good prices were reasonable. Not much to see but a good quick meal at a good price.
First time here under this name. And we will be back! Best home made burger we have had in a while! Fries were crispy and delicious. Greeted and served by owner Charlie. Nice conversation and excellent service. Casual atmosphere. Excellent food!
I can’t think of anything I would not recommend ~ We have been coming here for years. The cream of mushroom soup is AMAZING! The burgers are excellent and absolutely everything I’ve ever ordered here is always delicious! Family owned, Casual atmosphere, comfortable place to hang out, drink a few and enjoy the food!
Immediately greeted by a friendly bartender/waiter. We got some apps, a hoagie, and hotdogs. The food was quickly delivered to the table and tasted great! I fully recommend the chili with onions as it's easily the highlight of all of the dishes. The place wasn't loud or busy so it made a great place to have a little lunch date, it was rather affordable, and ultimately well worth the stop. 100% will be returning.
Great local bar with welcoming staff and really good food. Even with the limited menu during covid-19
Corner bar. Blah experience. Bathrooms are in basement. A little scary. Good place for a beer but not much else.
Fourth visit for my wife and I. Stumbled upon the place last year and we were impressed with the food. It's bar fare food, but sometimes that's all you want. Barkeeps know how to mix a drink, which is important to me. Their Sandwiches and burgers are tasty. The "bar pizzas" are a good value as well. They actually offer Turtle Soup on the menu, but apparently sell out fast. I'll have to keep trying for the soup.
I’m a pretty established local at this watering hole. No draft beers, but the prices on ST 2x bottles and cocktails make up for that.
Turbo Turkey is a good sandwich with homemade chips for $9. Good turtle soup, too.
I love all the bartenders, and on Thursday nights, the jukebox is free. They’ll always play the Penguins games on one screen with Jeopardy on the other.
Great frequent post-work stop.
