We went for restaurant week and were really happy with our food and the experience. We had foie gras and escargot for the first course, steak and monkfish for the main, and the puff pastry and chocolate pudding for dessert

Came here for the restaurant week, $45 menu for 3 courses. Started with the Escargots and then the Steak au poivrea and ended with Assiette des sorbets. Everything was amazing. Bread was fresh and warm, the waiters continued to bring us more bread every time we finished with our basket. The restaurant is a small but they have a separate room with a few extra tables. Definitely recommend

I went with high expectationsand was afraid I'd be disappointed. But was not. Just amazing, and especially for the price.

Firstly, our waiter, Ryan, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and personable. Secondly, the food is the best I’ve had outside of France. Sooooo goooood! We tried a bit of everything and nothing disappointed!

All food was phenomenal. Some of the best escargot I’ve had. Food took longer to arrive than expected but delicious upon arrival and overall great experience

Went for brunch, the farmers toast with mussels and poached eggs was absolutely divine. Espresso was good, Bloody Mary was just okay. Overall a lovely spot!

We attended a special dinner. The soup was very nice and the dessert fabulous. The remainder of the meal merely so so. My sick was very overcooked.

I have eaten here a number of times over the past 5 years since I’ve moved to Philly. Pre-COVID they were the standard of excellence against almost every other restaurant in the City - a well-oiled machine - would always give them 6s on everything. Came for the Bastille Day dinner tonite - my server got my order wrong THREE times and the duck entree was so overcooked that I could only chew the tough leg (which is usually juicy) a few bites and gave up and asked them to take it away. OK, everyone can have a bad night but put this all together and you can see why I gave them these ratings. Peter Woolseley (the owner) needs to remind everyone why they have been a staple in the City - superb quality. Sorry, but you blew it tonight.

When they say that Philadelphia is the Frenchiest city, they are absolutely directly talking about this restaurant. Traditional French menu items that are absolutely cooked to perfection and have interesting flavors. High-quality ingredients. I highly recommend the escargot, scallops, trout, and literally any dessert. Much better than many of the French staples around the city.

First impressions: Classy yet cozy Parisian neighborhood gem is a must for locals and out of town visitors alike. Wait staff donned in red vests are friendly as they are pros at hospitality. Tin cladded, high ceiling.down to the French old school music playing in the background creates the perfect setting to enjoy everything that you’re about to order.

The food: Order everything! You won’t regret it! Well seasoned and executed menu at any level are hard to come by… in any city. This is a rare gem.

Bistrot La Minette is one of my favorite restaurants in the city for the delicious food and fantastic service. They never rush you, and it's always a great experience. We recently held our rehearsal dinner there for our wedding - Maureen was so easy to plan and coordinate with and the service was fantastic, even for a large group of 16.

We always ordered 3 escargot. THIS IS NUMBER ONE WHEN WE TALK ABOUT ESCARGOT

Beautiful location. A lot bigger inside than we thought. Rachel was out server and did a very good job, made us feel welcome. Food was good, expected something different however I was not disappointed. Will be back.

We stopped in for a late brunch snack and had never heard or been to the restaurant. First, I think the menu is really well priced. I am relatively new to the area and have felt that food has been very overpriced for what you get. Here I felt the menu prices and descriptions really matched the service and quality of food received. Excellent. The waiter was nice and attentive but not too attentive (very French) which I appreciated. The wine and drink menu looked great the cocktail descriptions were varied but not too experimental (which I appreciate) I like standard cocktails with a twist and accessible ingredients. Second, the portions were perfect the cheese plate and soup were great the bread and butter served was great I was just overall so pleased with this surprising meal.

As someone who is French, and who has eaten at some crazy amazing restaurants this place is a must eat. We had a great time!

Already making plans to go back!

Been there numerous times and always enjoyed everything but yesterday got the chicken and it was on the dry side. Otherwise, everything else was great.

I enjoyed this restaurant and the overall atmosphere. The waitstaff is lovely and add to the good time. A nice selection of wines, cocktails, and they even have some nice beers. The food was very good, the only critique would be maybe less foie gras terrine, as it's so rich you can feel full off of that itself. Not necessarily a bad thing to have. We got the Terrine de foie gras, Filet d'omble chevalier au champagne, Joue de porc façon cassoulet (which was in my opinion the best selection we got and perfect for a raining day), and Gâteau au fromage de style basque. To drink we had Vin à l'ancienne, Ecorce Sauvage, and Crème de Cassis Kir Royale.

My husband and I recently visited Bistrot La Minette in Philadelphia and had an absolutely fantastic experience. We started with the Escargots a la Bourguignonne, which were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For our entrees, we ordered the Entrecôte et oeufs au plat and the Truite meunière, both of which were incredibly fresh and tasty. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of the food.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and charming, with a distinctly French feel that made us feel like we were dining in a bistro in Paris. We loved the cute decor and overall vibe of the place.

But perhaps the best part of our experience was the exceptional service we received. The staff was professional, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Our server was helpful in making recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish.

Overall, I would highly recommend Bistrot La Minette to anyone looking for an exceptional French dining experience in Philadelphia. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch, and we can't wait to come back again.
