This is nice clean area to enjoy a pretty day. There's benches and lots of space to walk around. If you have a furry best friend (dog) & you keep him on a lead you can take him to the park as it is dog friendly you're a you fish, are licensed & it's that time of year, you can make your way down to the riverbed and try to get some fish to bite. My favorite though, is the walking trail. It's wide and shaded along most of it. It's not usually that busy, especially during a weekday during school hours.

Love this part of town, very relaxing. Could use more to do. I was thinking they should play movies at the band stand and people can sit on lawn and watch. It would be like a drive in, but bring blankets, chairs, can play a lil older movies. Think it would be great!

We went to the free concerts here this summer. They were all wonderful. I wondered why the attendance wasn't better. Perhaps they need to advertise better. I had a hard time each week finding out the day, the time and the name of the group. It was always worth the effort. I am hoping that next summer the concerts will resume.

Blairsville has evening concerts on Saturday nights. Various types of bands. Free admission. Concession stands. Sometimes family movies.

Scenery was awesome! The only thing was that it was flooded when we went. Still fun!
