4It's a joy to have a library within a couple blocks from my apartment. The library has a lot of activities year round. Historical society holds meetings there which are open to the public. The offer Movie nights and have a large collection of DVDs that are available to borrow. They offer the use of hot spots where you can access the internet for a few dollars a week. Reading programs for children and so much more. It's a great addition to the town.

This library is small but adequate. It has a slight moldy odor, which seems to be common in older buildings in the US. The visitors and the librarian herself don’t seem to care about silence. Obnoxiously and loudly she engages with the visitors. One has to pay for parking (which seems to be the theme in Bloomsburg). What really did it for me (though no fault of the library) was the middle aged patron who shamelessly kept walking around, loudly flapping his flip flops. Wifi is good. Bathroom is clean. Alas, not the experience I’m used to in a library hence the poor below-average rating.
My favorite spot in town. The upstairs children's library is simply magical.
