Great atmosphere, staff is friendly and always making sure we are fine. Food is always good and drinks are good enough for a restaurant. If I really have to say something negative about this place is that plates are small for the price but I guess quality play a big role.

Services was horrible, food was salty and over priced. Not authentic food as a Mexican customer I'm looking for good Mexican food but, I'm always so disappointed on my own race they gave me a door table while it was freezing outside while all the restaurant was almost empty. I did asked to move tables but they said they were reserved. While I notice that every time I visit a Mexican restaurant with my "american" friends I get better service. I do recommend Mole Restaurant for Mexican food and customer services the best.
Will never go back.

Top 3 restaurants in Philly for brunch and dinner. The staff is filled with heart and soul, and you can tell they care about the service and food they put out. The brisket tostados when available are phenomenal, try the huevos rancheros for breakfast/brunch. Cash only, ATM inside if you forget.

Nice atmosphere and generally friendly team. We heard *great* things about their tacos. When we went, we got distracted by the wide-ranging menu, and forgot to try the tacos. Neither of us were excited about what we had ordered. However, I'm sure both were well prepared. We look forward to going back to try the tacos.

An amazing restaurant. The food here is simply excellent. In addition to delicious regular items, the specials are outstanding! The service is attentive without being overbearing. Don't wait.this is truly a 9th Street Market gem.

Lovely Mexican restaurant in Philly. Loved the decoration of the place. Service was welcoming and the food was amazing. I loved that they had café de olla.

Chilean Sea-Bass Ceviche $17 from the daily special’s menu. Came with plantain chips. Enjoyed this. Nice start to the meal.

Chorizo Sopecitos (3 per order) $14 small soft shell thick tortillas topped with refried beans, cheese, and sour cream. Good portion size. Really good. Would get this again. Could see myself craving this.

Pescado Pibil from the special’s menu $30 pan seared whole Dorade fish, marinated with Pibil sauce, stuffed with zucchini flower. Appreciate that this was deboned. Friends really enjoyed this. Pibil sauce was a bit sweet for me.

Side of sweet plantain $6 was really good.

10th time here and consistently a top choice for our friend group. The menu is jam packed with deliciousness, the drinks are well made, and although it’s small and tight the atmosphere is always lighthearted and fun. I can’t recommend Blue Corn enough

The food was delicious and was well priced. We ordered the tacos (beef, pork, and chicken) and they came out timely and were amazing. Waiters were polite and attentive.

Blue Corn - Drool Warnings! This has been on my hit list for a few years now since I'm rarely in South Philly. Don't let the kitschy WAY-over decorated seasonal decor scare you. It was a combo of St Patrick Day, Valentine's Day, Christmas and Cinco De Mayo. It did make the place look kind of tacky but extra pieces of tinsel are not going to stop margaritas and tacos getting into my belly. They have a fairly extensive menu for lunch and I was quite tempted by the sea bass ceviche (but didn't order it). I got the Passion Fruit margarita.when it comes with a chili salt rim you know you it is going to be outstanding! I got the braised chicken pibil tacos.expertly seasoned and love how there were all kinds of veggie accompaniments like cucumbers, grilled spring onion and pickled chilies. I can take some heat so loved adding the chilies to the tacos. Like a little 4th of July party in my mouth! The portion size was perfect. The plating was just-oh-so pretty! Service was friendly and attentive. My mouth was quite happy!

Good to know Blue Corn is still there. We haven’t lived in Philadelphia since 2017 but this was one of the best Mexican restaurants at the time. I’m going back there one day. Great food and an excellent margarita, friendly atmosphere in a small comfortable space. I grew up in Texas and this was as close to home as I could get. Getting homesick now.and hungry.

Some dishes are wonderful! Others are not.

Every time I've had one of their plates, it's been excellent!

But the burritos are very disappointing. Peas and carrots in the burrito, bland, very rice heavy.

Also, it's 2022 and the takeout is still being served in styrofoam. Realizing this, I won't get takeout again.
