Blue Course Commons reviews
24When my daughter got accepted as a transfer student we started looking for housing and we didn’t have a clue. Thank goodness we found Blue Course Commons. She lived there for 3 years and they put her together with two other girls and it couldn’t have been a better match. It is a spacious apartment with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Comes fully furnished and with a bus pass and off street parking. The Property Manager, Shannon was awesome as was the prior Manager Mae. Parents please take a look at this Property for your students. I am very thankful to them for all they did to make my daughter’s years in State College fun and safe.
This is the best place to live in State College!
The complex is close to nearly everything and comes with free parking and a bus pass to take a short ride to anything else you could need. Over late weekend nights I have saved money on Uber by taking NV or VN in and out of downtown (less than a 10 minute ride by bus) and don't have to deal with the noise of downtown at home. It really is the best of both.
Units are clean and spacious, maintenance requests are completed quickly and as quietly as possible and the office is responsive and kind. There is plenty of heads up if normal maintenance requires them to enter the unit, every staff I have talked to is also very nice.
Shannon is the main person in the office and she is very sweet and accommodating. If you have any questions or issues she always finds the info/solution quickly, if not immediately.
Overall this is an amazing place to live both for the unit upkeep/staff and the lively location that gives you privacy but is close to everything you could want in State College.
Pretty cool place to stay during the school year. Awesome bus pass to a lot of places, even off campus. Big bedroom, large living space. Property was kept nicely and they never woke me up with mowing the grass or doing repairs. Parking spot is free, although I didn’t need it and it’s within walking distance to pizza and Giant.
I really liked living here! My townhome was spacious and any issues that came up were dealt with quickly by the staff. My bedroom was plenty large and I had my own space. The house even had its own washer and dryer! The community building events within our complex were also nice (along with the free food and snacks)! Responses from the staff were timely and appropriate to the situation. I would highly recommend!
I have lived and worked here as a student for the past few years and I can't express how much I've enjoyed my time here! From working hard with the staff, to relaxing in my own room, or even hanging out at some of the events we've thrown, I've truly enjoyed every moment here. The townhouses are roomy and quiet and I highly recommend any Penn State student to #LiveWithin!
Really nice townhomes with spectacular management! Maintenance is always incredibly quick and helpful. The price is really good for the size and quality, as well.
Blue Course is a great place to live and the staff is super friendly and quick to solve any issue!
Blue Course has been a great experience. From the unit being presentable on move in day to when I need something fixed, maintenance has responded within 24 hrs with a solution to my problem. Mae has been amazing being able to answer all my questions and being very accessible. Would recommend to anyone to live here!
Good place for a fair price. Comfortable and spaceous accomodations and furnishments. I've probably slept on the couches as much as I have my own bed The Staff are helpful and friendly. Would choose this place everytime as if I had to go back to school.
I have lived here going on three years and love it! The apartments are really nice, and they’re in a quiet convenient location by the park/bike path. Blue course staff have always been super friendly and helpful, too. I graduate soon and will miss this place for sure!
Great location and features! Blue course is located right near the vairo region and the apartments come with some cool features for the rent they have. A bus pass, laundry machines, and a 55 inch smart tv are included in addition to other ones as well. Would recommend.
I lived there for two years! It was the most amazing living experience for me since I came to U. S. The apartment is clean and much comfortable than I thought. The manger and staff are friendly and willing to provide best services for residents. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place for students especially International students.
I've lived here for two years and would choose to live here again over other living options.
The small home is much more comfortable than the usual apartment. With an extremely friendly and helpful staff, kitchen, furnished living room, parking spot, bus pass, separate rooms, it's an ideal place to live.
I HIGHLY recommend looking into Blue Course as a living option in State College.
This is my third year at Blue Course Commons, and I really enjoy living here. The rent is great for a completely furnished apartment. The appliances are all pretty modern, including a washer and dryer in every unit. It’s also 4-5 minute bus ride to campus, and you get the bus pass for free. The apartments are townhouses so you don’t have to worry about people upstairs making too much noise. I also barely hear any noise from my neighbors even when they have parties. It’s a pretty serene environment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone moving to University Park
I stayed here for six months and had a great stay. It has spacious rooms, great amenities and is really well managed. It's the perfect place if you want to come home and not have to worry about the small things. The management is really helpful, thorough professionals and very prompt. I would highly recommend this place.
Very competitive rates for the area. The apartments are spacious and the furniture/appliances that come with it are very nice. Management is always nice and looking to help with anything one may need. Overall, a great place to live.
Great place to live! Apartments are clean, spacious, and renovated. Property management is extremely helpful with any concerns you have and maintenance requests are taken care quickly without any hassles. Overall, everyone is super friendly and I highly recommend here to any student looking for somewhere close to campus to live!
P. S. Catabus to campus is easy to figure out and only a 5 min ride to campus
I lived with College Town Communties all my 4 years at PSU and my last 2 at Blue Course Commons. They offer great amenities for a reasonable price, management is good, and it's located 5 mins from campus. I enjoyed my experience at BCC!
I am a student at Penn St and lived here for two years. I would definitely recommend it to people, the rent is fair, the rooms are large, and the appliances are new. I did have a small problem with my heat once and it got fixed right away. All the staff was very friendly. It is a little far from campus but the walk is easy and there are many buses going basically 24/7.
Blue Course Commons was a great living experience! The staff was super helpful and nice whenever an issue came up! 10/10 would recommend)
