Blue Marsh North Boat Launch, Bernville PA

Plenty of parking. I didn’t have any problems getting my stand up paddle board in the water. No alcohol allowed here.

Blue Marsh lake in general is such a beautiful spot with plenty to enjoy. It’s my favorite spot around to go out on the water. It’s relatively quiet and you can’t hear the road on some of the smaller off shoots. Listening to the birds is very relaxing. This is my little getaway. Plum creek creamery is just a couple miles away too and the perfect treat for before or after.

Other reviews focus on the boating, which does look great. There is a pleasant trail that follows the shoreline through hardwood stands of black walnut, oak and maple. Easy grade with enough windbreaks to block road noise quickly, and despite warnings of hunters off trail, saw none. Exactly what I was looking for!

It was a nice area, but it was confusing there were no arows to direct traffic.

This place gets to be really really busy over the summer, and The Fish and Boat Commission tends to scope everybody out and you better not try to troll around the island while fishing if you're going the opposite way then most of the skiing and jet skiing traffic, because if you do they may yell at you.
But just keep in mind if you're close to the banks it's a no wake zone so I'm not sure what the big issue is.
