I brought my kitten there last night and the staff were beyond caring and understanding. I really appreciated the care they gave me during a difficult time. The receptionists especially were super sweet.

The prompt and courteous staff at Blue Pearl were excellent when we rushed our lab, Bella there yesterday. They explained e everything in laymen’s terms and were very thorough. We fortunately were able to bring her home and she was in much better condition on our trip home then when we took her in. Dr. Orlando and the entire staff made this stressful time easier for us to handle. I would highly recommend Blue Pearl to anyone who needs any emergency services for their pet. Thank you. Our experience with the Reading PA office could not have been better. They attended to our emergency visit in a timely manner. Their diagnosis was clear and their advice and care was compassionate and heartfelt. Unfortunately, the recommendation for our sweet dear Katie was to consider her quality of life due to her age and condition. We chose to have her cross over at home with Lap of Love, another caring and compassionate organization. I would not hesitate to use them again in an emergency situation if one ever arose. For now, my grief is simply overwhelming to even think of getting another pet. Thanks to everyone at BluePearl.

It was a really hard day for my family as we had to say goodbye to our 14 years old cat. At BluePearl Pet Hospital provided the best care, service, and compassion to our family. They made the process real easy even tho I was a nerve wreck. From getting my cat in, explained everything and providing all the available options. It definitely made the day a bit easier. I will always be very grateful!

Our large goldendoodle needed to have a Valvoplasti to help alleviate constant UTI infections. She also had several nodes that had to be removed as well that could not be biopsy. We chose this facility because we had another dog who suffered from an unknown sudden illness and had to be put down. This facility and it's staff were super compassionate, very empathetic and explain to us our options that would suit our dog the best at such a difficult time. Our current dog's surgery was super successful. I would recommend this facility for any procedure that is needed for an animal.

Our little Petey got a hold of rat poison. He was terribly ill n we were not sure why. When we arrived at Blue Pearl, they immediately whisked Petey to the back to try to save him. For a day and a night they worked on his symptoms and did everything they could to save him. We just brought him home with some lingering issues that we have to monitor. If it wasn't for the expertise of Blue Pearl, Petey would no longer be with us.

I have to leave a review because it’s the only way I know how to say thank you right now to you all at Blue Pearl. And thank you for reading this book I’m about to write. So my senior cat Shadow of 20 years started declining last week. I thought I was going to have enough time to schedule an at home euthanasia appointment for him but he took a turn for the worse the night of July 4th. At this point he could barely walk. We slept in the living room to be near him but I when I woke up to check on him I knew it was time. I couldn’t bare to see the shell of my once loud and obnoxious loyal companion barely lift his head. Our family said our goodbyes. I called Blue Pearl around 5: 30 AM July 5th. We arrived shortly after 6: 00 AM. We were seen right away. I’m really sorry I don’t remember everyone’s name, but the receptionist at the desk who checked us in is a very sweet man. The assistant (sorry not sure of proper work title) who took Shadow back was very kind and compassionate. The vet who checked out Shadow let us know that it was indeed time. We already knew that but the confirmation just breaks your heart all over again. But the vet was very concise and to the point, an overall nice man. When you make your decision you sign all the paperwork before hand because you’ll most likely be a snotty messy after. So you don’t have to deal with any of that afterwards. You can walk right out the door immediately. They also have two packages to choose from. We chose the premium package. It’s a private cremation. They have a few different urns to choose from. We went with the photo one and we love it. (You put your own photo in it) They also have display urns on the table in the room so you can physically see which urn you picked. It comes with a name plate. It also comes with a clay paw print of your pet and I think I love this most of all. You have the option to not be with your pet while they euthanize them, but I wanted Shadows last moments to be in my arms. They have a lil room setup with a couch where they give you time with your pet alone if you wish before the procedure. When you’re ready you press a button to let them know. The vet explains everything before the procedure. They already have the IV setup in your pets leg when they bring them to you. I don’t know what happens medically here, but the first injection relaxes them so they don’t know what’s going on. The second injection is what kills them. The vet will check the pulse to make sure and will let you know that your pet is gone. It is a very peaceful humane procedure. I would have preferred for Shadow to die naturally at home but he was suffering. Please do not feel guilty for choosing to euthanize your pet. After Shadow was gone they give you more time alone with your pet if you wish. When you’re ready you press the button again. The assistant (sorry not sure of proper work title) who came and took Shadow from my arms was very gentle and compassionate. Everyone offered their condolences. We went in there Wednesday morning and got his ashes back Friday afternoon. It has been a rough couple of days without Shadow. His presence is greatly missed but when I look back on his final moments I am truly grateful and thankful for the staff’s kindness at Blue Pearl. Yall are amazing. The whole process couldn’t have went any better. And one more thing, Blue Pearl sent us a personal condolence card. It wasn’t a computer generated one, someone actually took the time to write in it and that really meant a lot to us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Big thank you to Dr. Roberts, his nurses, his team, his receptionists. You guys may or may not not get the credit you all deserve and I just have to say thank you for treating my baby girl Bella so well. This is by far the hardest thing a pet parent will ever have to deal with. The physical pain I feel in my chest, the heart break, may not ever go away knowing I only have so little time with my Bella. What I do know is that you guys made it as comfortable for us as possible and I really appreciate that. We will be coming back for check ups and I live pretty far. I trust you guys and that’s very hard to find. So thank you again Blue pearl

Absolutely wonderful staff, knowledgeable vets, and compassionate techs. You can tell they really love the animals that come through their doors. Kudos to the staff.
They didn't push procedures or tests that were unnecessary.

No problems going here for an emergency with our cat when we thought he might have a blockage. They answered the phone quickly and got him checked ASAP. The veterinarian confirmed it wasn't a blockage through imaging and gave a thorough explanation of all options for testing of further issues, what was most likely, what could be treated, costs, etc and was generally very helpful and listened well to concerns.

The worst place you can ever find! Cruel, and all about money! They do not have any hearts or compassion!

I was skeptical at first, the wait time seemed excessive since it was almost an hour travel for me, but, in the end it was so worth it, my dog got the best care and I left there confident that I did the right thing for her.she is doing better, staff and Dr were top notch professionals.yes it's a bit pricey, but the care was exceptional, so worth it, they send you back to your regular Vet for follow up, so they do try to save you the expense where they can.just be prepared to wait and they let you know that upfront, they had my dog all day, if you can go home, they keep in touch with you. I live too far away to do that, only downside and that wasn't their fault.
