Bob’s Discount Furniture and Mattress Store, Wilkes-Barre Township PA

Very nice store and Jill, the person who helped us, was very helpful and informative.
The primary thing there that appeals to me is that they have far more comfortable furniture than any other place in the area and that matters tremendously to me because of terrible back pain. Because by the time we went to this store after sitting on soo many couches that had such hard seats, it was a huge relief to sit on their more comfortable and honestly more varied looks. To me it seems like the color choices have become very limited.gray, brown, tan, black.personally.yuck. People like not only comfort but different color choices and after seeing all those ugly colors, it was depressing!
So while I still haven't found my perfect couch, I would definitely say that this store considers their customers comfort far more than any other store around and I know that I am not the only one who suffers from pain and for those of you who do, I would consider checking this store out.

I have shopped at Bob's Discount Furniture many years ago, and I still have that Furniture. So I didn't think twice about going to Bob's again.
Once again we were met by an amazing sales person. She was very helpful and very knowledgeable about the product we were looking at. Best part there was no pressure to buy something that didn't fit our needs.

Richard was extremely helpful and patient during our visit and made the experience pleasant for my whole family.

We recently purchased a sectional. Peter was the sales representative we worked with and he was fantastic! We have not received the item yet but every part of the buying process was easy.

Delivery service is poor and customer service not good at all it took 4 months to get my bed they need to get organized

I have never shopped at Bob's furniture before my first experience was 10! I highly recommend visiting Bob's furniture for great prices and customer service the best.

Sectional was delivered ripped and the legs do not attach! They don't care. They offered a technician to put the legs on.in 3 weeks! Go elsewhere. They don't care once they have your money.

Didn't find anything we liked or what we were looking for. But the atmosphere was great, the staff was super friendly and willing to help!

Franco was extremely helpful when I purchased my couch and ottoman! He went above and beyond to make sure I knew all of the information and had everything I needed. Additionally, when I needed to add on a box spring to my order, I was able to send him a text and ask him a question, and then he ordered it for me to be delivered on the day that was convenient for me. He made everything very easy! Highly recommend working with Franco!

Past February i spent over $20,000 at Wilkes Barre Bobs store to furnish our new home. We were told we had the white glove protection plan and for 5 years they would replace any broken furniture especially at no fault of my own. I called in August as a $900 recliner stopped working. Its October and Bobs has done nothing for me in replacing this piece of furniture. I called their Guardian service and after several weeks am still waiting. My recliner is open and does not work after 3 months of broken promises. I called the store several times and the store manager has not called back and will not answer their phone when called. After being promised they would fix or replace the furniture they lied. I will never shop their again and will make sure none of my friends and neighbors either. Their disrespect to me is not acceptable and their lack of hinesty to have this furniture replaced is uncalled for.

I was in the area so I decided to browse through Bob's Discount Furniture in hopes to find some living room lamps. I didn't find anything I was looking for, some of the furniture looks quite outdated several living room pieces remind me of the 1980s & not much of a selection in anything, the employees were very polite and courteous.

Rich, Tina and Nicole were awesome- I appreciated the professionalism, product knowledge and help. Great team in that store. I can't wait to get my new bedroom set! Thanks guys your great.

A joke all they want to do is sell you something. Excuses, Excuses, Excuses. Where's my Furniture?

I ordered a love seat and recliner roughly
2 months ago. Still have yet to get it, now when we ordered it we asked the salesman why so long before delivery we were told don't expect it to take that long it should be sooner that we'd be able to pick it up.
That original date has come and gone and keep getting later and later dates that'll it'll be in.
Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time even looking at Bob's furniture.

Great service. Got lucky with delivery was very quick for the set I purchased. Would go again for my furniture needs:)

Where do I start?
When in the store the sales person lied and said all the items were in stock. She lied. It took months for our things to come. Every room had at least one item that was defected and had to be exchanged out which took weeks to come in.
Was told my bedroom set would be delivered but never showed up until a week later. So I slept on the floor for a week. Don't try calling the wilkes barre store itself because NO ONE will answer. Was told by a manager half way through this experience not to cancel our order because we would be compensated for the issues. They offered us $150. What a generous compensation for lieing, misleading and just all around running a terrible company.

I take back my excellent rating with Bob’s. I took out the goof insurance and they will not honor it in any way or form. If you buy from them, there is no point in getting the insurance. When I took it out I was told it was for the life of the furniture, not a year! The recliner loveseat I bought is broke and they refuse to fix it! I will never buy from this place nor will I recommend it to anyone!
