Let’s get real, if it wasn’t for the view the small menu of pickled “stuff” and paper plated macaroons with a cup of barefoot wine would have shut the place down

Enjoyed visiting the different businesses. My good friend has a business on the 3rd floor.

Stunning outdoor rooftop bar facing the Philadelphia skyline with clear views of the entire city and bridges. One of the few buildings in South Philly with a public roof deck, was previously a high school which now sports various businesses and co-working spaces on lower floors. Food and beverages are a creative casual mix from rotating chefs so be sure to check the website.
On my visit I had a roasted butternut squash and kale salad served in paper tray and carrot ginger soup in a cup. My party had popcorn shrimp with actual popcorn as well as fries. Canned beers and specialty mixed drinks.
I would definitely return but perhaps dine at the restaurant on the other side of the building.

Bok Bar is a must! This is the perfect place for locals and tourists. Incredible view, friendly service and great food and drinks!

Always been a fan and love this spot. It have the best view of the Philly skyline. Check for the dates of its opening and plan to visit accordingly. This spot is must visit not just for view but the drinks selection is pretty good.
The vibe is hipsterish, it’s lgbtq+ friendly, kids friendly, pet friendly. For me, Bok bar is coolest of cool in hipster vibe or classy. I love my every visit here. They did rotating kitchen program to help neighborhood restaurant since the COVID started which was a good experience.
I used to like their hummus and chips a lot but they did not have it anymore on their menu anymore. We tried fries this time and that was awesome too.

This is a great place for a date night. It gives you a unique view of the Philly skyline from South Philly. It is a high school that has been transformed into a business center with rooftop bars. The vibe reminded me of being in Brooklyn, which is dope. Go here for the view and drinks, make sure you eat first! They do serve cocktails, but no whiskey drinks, and they host different food vendors on different nights. I was not impressed by the food at all. They served chicken skin nachos for $15 and literally put 5 nachos on the plate.

Gorgeous views, friendly staff, large airy space for multiple large and small groups, delicious if pricey food, near great businesses nearby.

Incredible view. Nice staff. Mediocre mixed drinks. Unremarkable music but I think they were having trouble with their sound system that night, I've heard the music is good other times. I'll go again but will stick to beer. The view beats any other in Philly.

Great views, reasonable drinks and always- friendly staff make the Bok Bar a great place to grab a drink, especially with out-of-town guests so they can see the Philly skyline.

This is an absolute must-see if in Philadelphia. The view of the city from the roof of Bok is unmatched and the vibe of the entire bar is fantastic. Highly recommend hitting this place up on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon to take in the views and enjoy a few beers and light snacks.

The view is jaw dropping. The staff is so very kind and a true joy to interact with. Eclectic people throughout. This is a place to mingle with all sorts of folks and truly enjoy humanity. Food rotates with multiple pop up events. Whoever is curating the food program does a killer job getting great chefs in there on the regular.

ViewS: both City AND SERVER! Delicious complexion and smile. Bringing new definition to the word SMOOTH. If only this young lady was a man. Jeanine (sp?) you made my first visit to Bok one to remember! Keep being beautiful.

An awesome repurposing of the Bok high school. The bar provides awesome panoramic views of the skyline. Haven't made reservations for Irwin's yet but heard good things. Drinks were strong but not overly so. Definitely a must see spot.

Beautiful, very unique bar (located on top of a school) with incredible views. Definitely come for a sunset and a drink (or 3) on a warm day!

This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a bar. This was a very makeshift experience, seemingly put together overnight. The atmosphere is held by the scenic view, everything else was very cheap and horrible. Seriously if you want to have a good time please go elsewhere. Drinks were ok, our food was never made after waiting an hour…. Will never be coming back to this bar.

Bok Bar should be in every tour guide book in Philly. Breath taking views with hip vibe. We visited South Philly for its Frizwit/PoiDog pop up. The food was amazing, the drinks were delightful, and the atmosphere was electric. I wholeheartedly recommend Bok Bar as a truly Philadelphian experience.

Always a good time, good food and love that you can do reservations now since finding a place to sit can definitely be a challenge- place gets super crowded.
