Very terrible service. Poor communication. Never respond to issues in my apartment. I do not recommend this company for any maintance of any apartment building. My heat is still on and my electric bill is very high. They will not turn my radiators off any time I ask. I have no thermostat. I now am running my air conditioners non stop. Electric has raised it's cost. So it's costing me a furniture to keep my apartment comfortable since they have neglected my complaint. Do not use this company. My light needed replaced. There's no point of putting a ticket in as they don't even acknowledge your tickets. I've been waiting all summer. It's hot, turn my heat off! Controlled heat should be controlled to OFF I'm summer!

Made a viewing to go see an apartment on 741 N 8th street and no one showed up even though I confirmed through email and text. I even called them several times and left a voice mail trying to figure out what happened. I waited infront of the apartment for 1 hr before I left just incase the person who was supposed to show it to me was late. Still nothing, I was not informed it was canceled or the date was moved. Ridiculous

Hello, I need to write this review because it is wrong and unkind how the staff at Bold reality handles Potential tenants. The negative reviews on this has actually happened to my mother. We can’t speak about urine smell, however the way the unprofessional staff handles things is definitely true. I don’t know if it’s because they are purposely not responding to “certain” people based on “certain” factors but it’s something suspicious. My mother paid an application fee and she had to find out through an email she didn’t get it. When she called the office the staff had no idea who she was or what property she applied for. Then my mom switched the application fee to another property on the phone to find an email that the property was rented out. She lost her $35.
My mother still referred Bold to my brother and they did the same thing to him. He lost $35. This all happens in November 2021for my mom and 2 weeks ago for my brother. My mom wants something done because that’s not right. Are they showing places already taken? Why does no one use the phone to communicate?

Called several times spoke to multiple people to report nuisance tenants next door, constant fighting, cops always here. Got little to no response, Bold doesn’t care. Ongoing nonsense still remains and the peace is gone.

I scheduled a viewing of one of their properties. It was a tiny trash pit in the center of reading pa. Their automatic lockbox system did not work. The unit was coated In urine. The online listing said it was gas utilities, they were electric. The entire experience felt unprofessional. I can't imagine giving them an application fee just to be denied and have them pocket my money and still be homeless.

Responding to the owner. The key was in the lock when I arrived. I tried to follow the text prompts to return the key to the box but again it did not work with the code sent. I could not get ahold of the company to find out how to return it to the box so I left the key in the lock as I found it) The flooring is incomplete, broken in many many places. The back yard is covered in debris. The kitchen and bedroom smell like a urinal at a truck stop. The last paint job the furniture was painted around. The walls are stained yellow, evident from where the wall clock hung. The walls were built on top of the cast iron radiator. The back door must be pushed into the hinges in order to close it because it sags when opened (most likely due to the water damage all around it).
By trash pit I mean a pit full of trash. The back door leads to a yard so covered in trash it would be dangerous to leave the building that way.

Paid $70 to apply for an apartment, called multiple times following up after i applied to talk with someone about my application but nobody ever answers, i left voicemails but never heard back from them & after 5 days I got an email that the rental i applied for was already rented out. It would have been nicer to speak to someone and hear from them that my application got declined, especially when I paid them. Ridiculous to not be able to reach them at all. Worst service ever.

Thank you to Bold and Karen Harbster. To say Karen helped us locate and purchase our first home would be a massive understatement. Her knowledge of the process guided us through a smooth transition and transaction. Her responsiveness was lightning fast and through all hours of the day/night. She helped us secure our first home at a great price in the midst of this covid19 nonsense and in a market that was insanely competitive. I cannot recommend her enough. If we had questions she had answers. If something seemed off about the house she was on the phone with the listing agent before I could blink. A lot of people say buying a house is one of the most stressful and difficult things in life.thats not the case with Karen.
