American Restaurant Bolete reviews
19I enjoyed my meal, I had the duck. Service was good, atmosphere was beautiful BUT it was my wife's birthday and she doesn't really eat beef and decided to order the steak, it was not a good cut, it was all gristle but she did not want to complain.
Wait staff is both attentive and very pleasant. Food was spectacular in both construction, taste, and presentation.
NYC-like experience in the middle of the Lehigh Valley! The place is small and cozy, but also tasteful and elevated. The cocktails are delicious and strong. The way the oysters were prepared were some of the best I've had on the East Coast. The ribeye was humongous and the fish flaky. The service was fantastic (thanks Tyler!) and the manager was very friendly. I got a gift card for my parents before we even finished with dinner. HIGHLY recommend this place for a nice date night or a classy night out with friends.
Stellar. Every. Single. Bite. Absolutely stellar. The only thing better will be the next time I go.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely incredible. Some of the best food we’ve ever eaten. It is pricey but the food is worth it. We really wanted to go but my husband has a mushroom allergy so we were concerned because it’s in most of the dishes. The staff was incredibly accommodating about it. Most chefs will not alter their dishes but the chef here created an entirely new dish surrounding the ribeye for him and we appreciated it so much. Would absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone!
Amazing quaint spot with friendly staff, great service, and absurd dishes! The hype did not disappoint.
I took my girlfriend for her birthday. The food was great, as was the service. Our waitress was very attentive and gave us some great recommendations.
It did take a while for us to get our food, though when we did, it was hot and delicious (I assume the wait was due to how many people were there.)
Also, it is a VERY cozy restaurant. My girlfriend and I were seated in the middle of the restaurant and our table was about 5 inches from another couples. Not that big of a deal but if youre looking for privacy, it may be tough to find on a busy night.
We paid 150.00 for a terrible experience and the food was so small. I had apiece of fish that was 2in by 2 in. What a Rip Off! Never will go back to a place that the building is falling apart. There greedy profit are more important then fixing there parking lot and no lights. Why people think this is such a wonderful place is beyond my intelligence. My wife just had a hamburger and fry’s. We each had one drink. PS don’t fall on the walkway to the door.
Thought we’d found the only good restaurant in Bethlehem during our visit - great venue and ambience was good. Appetisers were great so set the stage for high quality entrées but we were disappointed… pork was dry, bass was small and overcooked, both had accompanying veg that seemed like an average home cook had just thrown together what’s left in the fridge. Was a sloppy effort & bass veg was overly spicy. Didn’t get any dessert after that. I appreciate what they’re trying to do but the entrees unfortunately let them down. If you’re going to charge Manhattan prices you need to also match the standard of food.
Went for brunch the food was delicious the service was great seated in the tavern area which was nice not too crowded or loud in Tavern area
Love the ambiance. Cute, cozy bar area. The food, service, and drinks are phenomenal. The complimentary mini muffins and savory scones, delicious raw oysters, tuna, brunch bowl with egg, mushrooms, biscuit. Everything was perfect- beyond expectations. Will be back.
Not a burger joint, but they served me the best tasting burger I've had in my entire life.
Amazing food, drinks and service in a beautiful setting. Very creative dishes and cocktails.
Everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was divine. Definitely be sure to leave room for dessert!
We were disappointed in food that was below what we expected. Have to say this was our first visit post pandemic. While good, quality was a notch below what we had come to expect. Service and ambiance was still top notch. No truffle fries which I was craving!
The food and drinks are delicious and well crafted! Lee and co make great food that is as locally sustained as possible. They are able to be clear about any allergens, too. The indoor lighting can be a bit distracting.
Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my entire life. If I was on death row and had to pick a last meal, I’d choose this.
The Orchard Feedback drink, oysters and lamb shank made the best meal I've had in years. Phenomenol food! The dining room is very loud though, we sat in the center of the room and I had difficulty hearing my companion. This is partially to be expected in a historical house. We still had a great meal
An absolutely magical experience. Entering through the front door is what I imagine platform 9 3/4 is like in Harry Potter. You are instantly greeted by a sweet gem Erin and a delicious cocktail menu. Sit down and enjoy your evening while Lee makes sweet music in the kitchen with his pots and pans.
