Books-A-Million, Harrisburg PA

Always a great trip to BAM. Even if they do not have the book I am looking for, there is one to take its place. Also they are more then willing to order a book for you!

Very clean and well organized. Many new titles. I did not think much of their used book section.

When I entered the store there was a customer with a pet dog in a BAM cart. Even though my service dog remained quiet at my side, the pet barked and growled until we were well out of eye sight. The customer was actually speaking with a BAM employee when this occurred.

I spent an extra long time in the far corner of the store hoping the pet would be asked to leave. I finally continued shopping but was met with the pet dog again who reacted the same way towards my service dog. At that point I did not feel comfortable in the store and left without my goods. I know it's not much but I had planned to spend a couple hundred dollars in Christmas presents.

I was disappointed that the BAM employees didn't ask the pet dog to leave the store (or get out of their cart?) when it misbehaved so badly, right in front of them.

The store is beautiful and has a great selection. The service was lacking. There were 4 people behind counter but only one checking people out, others just leaning on counter.

Absolutely unacceptable! I set my books up moments before another lady. Mind you their is no exact direction for cashing out. Charlene asked me to pick up my books off the counter and move over to ring out someone else that was not even in sight. Embarrassing and uncalled for.

Not Barnes and nobles. But still has a good variety of books, games and other stuff. The little coffee place has great coffee and snacks.

Nice place full of book you can't get anywhere else including graphic novel plus the t has a comic subscription service I don't know how good it is as I don't use it.

I visit this store often, and always enjoy it. It's kind of a second office for me. I frequently work for several hours in the cafe. Staff and management are fine with it. I've done this for years, without any word from employees. I usually get a coffee.

Stopped in on a whim on the weekend. The selection here is huge. I love the smell of a bookstore and to browse through titles. They have a large variety of books, Genre, age groups and topics. Theres a place for coffee and tea and to sit down and enjoy wheat you've just purchased. For a book addicrmt it can almost be overwhelming because you want to read so many of the books. There a rebclassics, music, toys fir kids and adults. The staff was friendly also. Only downfall was that, as with other things, somw of the book selections I viewed was a little on the pricy side compared to other places.dare is say Amazon. But, if you're willing to pay a little more this place is a nice place to visit.

I enjoyed looking at the different selection of books. I was looking for a certain author, and I found him. The coffee was so good. Loved it, great experience. Thank you.

Clean and quiet, but the best thing is that it is a real, in-person bookstore. With a coffee shop.

I would leave a 0/10 due to the fact that they advertised a million books but did not have that many, however they did sell the hit 2007 novel, 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' so 10/10, I guess.

Good selection, relatively organized, with good sales, promotions, & discounts. Staff is helpful and friendly without being pushy.

The selection of books is typically newer and or popular titles. Which is fine, but not much of a variety. I do however like the more unique items they have. Some nice shirts, small variety of vinyls, kids toys, shirts… etc. Take time to look at everything if you can. Lots of current mainstream popular things.

Neat store. Books more than anything. Toys and tech are not represented as much as would hope from signage. Store is clean and organized though.

Love this bookstore! So easy to find what you're looking for and a great selection to choose from. The staff was very helpful, knew where everything was, and were nice to talk to.

Always a goodntime for wife and daughter they go in with my money but never comebout with my money
