Borderline Restaurant reviews
20Never went for lunch but I can tell you breakfast is always great and staff is always pleasant
Thanksgiving dinner at Borderline. Food is always fine and predictably nice. This year, though, the potato filling was some of the BEST I've ever eaten!
My son and I stopped in on our way from running around.
Our server was adequate. Food was delicious. Nice presentation.
Clean atmosphere.
Borderline is a very nice place to eat. Their wait staff and bus staff keep the restaurant very clean, and the time to turn over a table is amazing.
One of my favorite places to eat! Good Food And Good service, love the Margarita flatbread
1rst time there. Waiter was friendly and provided good customer service. Food was fresh and hot. Plenty of parking. The price for being a diner was just a lite up In price. I would say pricier then most diners I have went to. Overall it was a good experience.
Me and my friend were dinning in and we had a nice waitress and when she brought the check we had informed her that we will be here for a little bit because we were catching up.my friend had her newborn out because he wanted to be fed. Another waitress, an older lady with grey hair took it upon herself to come to the table and basically told us that we needed to leave the table and pay very rudely and unprofessional.so we started to pack up because we didn’t want to fight with her.when we went to pay we asked to talk to the manager and a kid in sweatpants came and said he was the manager when we highly doubt he was.he didn’t care about what happened and had attitude the whole time and then he brought the other waitress that basically kicked us out and she was smiling and laughing like something was funny.overall very unprofessional and we nor my friends and family will EVER step foot in that restaurant AGAIN.
I grew up loving pancakes, flapjacks, hotcakes etc. And this has been the only place that makes the best buttermilk pancakes ever every single time I eat there.apparently they've been using same recipe 40 years.
Wonderful restaurant. It wasn't very crowded when we went which was very nice. We had breakfast and it was delicious!
Not an A class restaurant, but it was clean and I enjoyed the stuffed haddock. The wife didn't really care for her dinner and said the seafood bisque she got tasted a lot like tomato soup.
We went there for breakfast. Food was not that good. All three of us had different items and all said we should have gone somewhere else.
Super Friendly staff! Food was pretty decent and the time receiving the food wasn't bad for how busy it was. Would definitely go back. Ordered apps which tasted pretty fresh and not over fried.
Disappointed for the Easter Dinner! Chicken stank. Desserts were really ridiculous. No pie (Apple Crumb, Cherry Cheesecake, Chocolate Cake, Crumb Cake, no ice cream?)
Mother's Day family gathering. Management very accommodating to group of 12. Food hot and tasty. Wide variety on the menu, well priced.
The Borderline was originally a Perkins but has been recast as a family run restaurant that offers up generous portions of home-style meals at a great price.
One of my favorites places to go for breakfast in the Lehigh Valley. My go-to is the Greek Omelet (add tomatoes), home fries, and rye toast. They have added a group of new items to the menu such as the Grecian Quesadilla – Gyro meat, feta, tomato, and eggs inside a pressed pita. They offer a variety of pancakes- chocolate chip, blueberry, banana walnut – that are hot off the grill and delicious.
There is a bakery case that has pies, cakes, and cookies to eat in the restaurant or to go.
They have a spacious dining room and a small counter for seating. Place is usually very busy on Sunday mornings. Fast and friendly service from the wait staff and hosts.
Staff were lovely and main course was delicious with generous portions. However the soup was bland to the point of tasting pasty and what passes for the salad bar was watery (veggies) and bland (potato & macaroni salads). Extra star added for being clean and having ample staff.
Fast, friendly and courteous service, great prices and great staff
We go here on a semi regular basis.always good/great.lisa is the best
Went thier for the VERY first time and food was soso n waitress brought me my second dish didn't make me aware plate was hot glad food was hot but YOU HAVE TO BE CAUTIOUS WITH CUSTOMER. S IF THEY GRAB THE PLATE N BURN THEM SELVES BE A BIG PROBLEM I GLAD IT GOT ADDRESSED PLEASE BE VERY CAUTIOUS WITH GENERAL PUBLIC
This eating place is so clean and well maintained. The employees are always so friendly. The food is like homemade and the prices are right. Highly recommend.
Nice homey atmosphere. Ordered breakfast and it was ok. Not bad but nothing over the top. Saw other plates and food looked good. Would go again.
