Bridge over Piney Fork reviews
6A lot of woods, along the creek, can't beat it. Many parking areas along the way
The pictures below are on the Montour Trail. Not specifically Bridge over Piney Fork. That being said, this Bridge is gorgeous. You can almost imagine seeing the coal minders up on the hills. Hills that are blackened by the surface coal. And the Bridge is very sturdy. And there's certainly a beauty to rust. And the rust on the support beams is truly a sight to behold. It is also really close to a creak. That is very clear and beautiful. One of my favorite things to do is to go down the side of the hill and wade in the creak. I highly recommend this beautiful Bridge if you're looking for a magnificent and peaceful respite from the craziness of the world!
Favorite dog walk section on the Montour Trail. Quiet, peaceful. So pretty with the change of seasons.
Part of South Park which I am finding out more, and more about every day. A beautiful area to take a hike. There is plenty of parking at the various entrances to the trails. Nice to see portable toilets in the area too. I still have 99% of the park to explore.
The bridge is tight about 2 lanes but when it comes to long vehicles and semis find another route
Great trail to bike, walk, or jog. Always see plenty of wildlife. Trail is well maintained.
