Broad Run Golfer's Club reviews
17Saw a TV spot of theirs that made two claims “on par” with false advertising. It said they sell four hour vacations and you’ll seldom see another group. Fun course, for sure, but some of the longest rounds and most overcrowded conditions can be found at BRGC. …and it’s not cheap! Just know what you’re in for.
Wanted to see the layout prior to an upcoming tournament. Overall the course had quite a few interesting holes with many elevation changes and slopes on fairways. My only knock was the greens looked like a fungus or some other patchy discoloration affected most greens. They were quite slow and inconsistent in speed. Hopefully as the season rolls on the greens will recover. I look forward to playing again. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Course looks great, didn't get to play though. Was in a rush so booked a single to play 9 holes before heading to the airport. Showed up and was thrown into a 4some and was told some random person had to ride with me. Knew I'd only make 3 or 4 holes in a big group and mess up their game so I took my loss and went somewhere else.
Been playing the course regularly for the last few weeks before joining and have been beyond pleased with the conditions. Formerly a member at a private club but outrageous fees drove me out last year. Have not had a complaint with the course so far and maintenance seems to take good care of the grounds. Just signed on as a full member and from the beginning Tom Morgan (head pro) made it an awesome experience with a truly welcoming vibe and the restaurant is always enjoyable for a quick beer after a round. Looking forward to countless rounds and the meeting of new friends.
Staff is great. Course is strange. Bunkers need work. Absolutely unwalkable. Rees jones makes some great courses, but the layout of this struggles. A few strange, blind tee shots: one where you have virtually no chance to anticipate what's in the fairway.
Kept in good shape, but hard to understand.
Great fairways and greens But wear your climbing shoes On every hole the elevation from the cart path down to the green is about 20 yards at a 45 degree incline
The course is in great condition. The price is a little much though. You have to pay a fee to book online. All in, it was 128 for the round which included a small bucket. I think $113 plus a booking fee should at least get you free range balls.
Very challenging course.
Course is in great condition.
Workers were excellent and the pulled pork sandwich was excellent also.
And of course the draft beers were cold and excellent.
Beautiful course with some tight, hilly challenges. I had to drive ahead to get an idea on where to aim tee shots. I'd definitely play again at the discounted rate I paid.
Huge fan of this course. Really wish they'd take better care of the bunkers. Rocks and lack of sand.
This is a “must play” course. Every hole has elevation changes that make them challenging and fun at the same time. Great, expansive layout and beautifully maintained. Amazing views of Chester county. And the staff is friendly and courteous. Thanks to all who keep that place a real gem.
Course is great! Only issue is for what you pay on the weekends they should at least have water coolers on the course. Be better!
Love the lay out. Every hole offered a different challenge. Will definitely play there again
Not coming here with new prices. $120 with tax for this course? Lol it’s only a decent course. Does not command ridiculous price increase. No wonder tee sheet is wide open when every other golf course full. Do they think this this Pinehurst? Greens are dog.
One of the great public golf course in the phila metro area. Bring your "A" game
Course is in fantastic shape. Greens were rolling smooth and fairways were lush and green. Friendly staff. Definitely a top course to play in Chester County.
