Broadway Grille + Underground, Jim Thorpe PA

I have dinned at this facility several times for breakfast and lunch. The reviews are so highly rated I always have such high hopes! I ordered the sweet potato fries and they were COATED in syrup. The service was only good when Casey was the bartender but she unfortunately does not work there anymore. We were actually with someone accompanied out because the Manager didn't like she was dating her ex boyfriend. True story folks. Super disappointed. I now recommend all of my clients and my businesses' clients to Mist instead and they absolutely love it!

I honestly don't know how this place only has 4 stars. My boyfriend and I went here both days for breakfast during our weekend in Jim Thorpe, we loved it! He had the best bloody Mary of his life and their bar has empress gin, which I've never seen at a restaurant even in cities. Will be making a return visit someday!

Since it is attached to our hotel, we had a dinner and a breakfast. For dinner we had salads and shared the nachos. Salads were good and the nachos quite good. The staff was friendly and quick with service. The food hot and fresh tasting. Good value for sure.

Careful they will charge 2.00 for a slice of cheese on a kids burger and 1.00 for onions to be added on my burger. My moms food was bland and dry and at the end of the lunch we paid 80.00 disappointing very much! Won’t return

It's a really busy place in the height of the season. Revolving door type of place with little to no ambiance. Nothing special other than the old building that it is located in. A bit pricey for what it is.

2 of us got fish and chips. The fish was rubbery and undercooked. Waitress was nice and tried to take it off our bill. Female manager with long, straight brown hair was very rude and said she’d only take $7 dollars off a $38 plate. So 2 of us paid $31 for half a piece of fish and some fries.

The breakfast menu was simple. The biscuits and sausage gravy was very tasty and biscuits very soft and yummy. Our waitress Kelly was very very friendly and gave us great service. I’ll definitely be coming back when I’m in the Poconos again.

Food ok, limited menu, went on a Monday, was told out of several food options? We were a party of two and tip was automatically added to bill @ 20% gratuity. We almost double the tip be ause no one mentioned tip was included. Overrated in my opinion.

They ignored me seated at the bar for 15 minutes. Bartender and waitstaff never even acknowledged me waving my hands to get their attention, so I left.

What a great experience. Our server was super nice and clearly very experienced. The warm apple pie cocktail tasted just as imagined, and the jalapeño stuffed mushrooms were out of this world! The BALT Chicken sandwich certainly wasn't bad, but some barbeque sauce would have really pulled everything together. It was missing something! It was not enough to remove a star from the overall score. Thanks for a great experience.:)

Staff was wonderful accommodating 15 of us. Orders were taken promptly and meals delivered so we were all eating at the same time. Food was tasty. No complaints from anyone in our group.

Ate several meals here - both breakfast and dinner - while staying at the attached inn. The food was wonderful, the drink selection and drinks themselves were both great, decor, vibe, atmosphere, all much appreciated.

I also can't say enough times how excellent the service was (thanks Devon!). I'd give her 6 stars if I could!

This is my second time here and the service is horrible. The first time I was here I was told to find a table and waited to be served for about 10 minutes until a waitress came over and told us we couldn’t sit at the table that we were at and were also told we would have to wait another 20 minutes for another table. Now I am here for the second time waiting to be served while observing other customers who came in after us being served before us. After 20 minutes of waiting a waitress finally took our order.

Ordered a steak, the thinnest piece of meat ever came out, it was well done, and overall just didn't taste good. The service was quick and good though.

Major disappointment from the beginning. We ordered 2 beers, a water, bruschettta appetizer, and 2 burgers. Spouse asked for medium well (Underground steak burger) and I asked for medium rare (Broadway burger). The description of my burger was spicy raspberry bacon jam and hot cheese. I never had the bacon jam before and was looking forward to trying this.
We were asked how we would like them cooked when we ordered. His was medium rare and mine was well done. Not how we had ordered at the beginning of the order. No spice at all to my burger, asked for hot sauce to compensate. They put labeled toothpicks in the burgers (in photos) for the doneness of which burger is what. So, I am clear that this was a cooking misstep.
Spouse asked for another beer when we got the burgers.
I never got the water I asked for and, we never received our appetizer. We let the server know this so it could be removed from the bill.
When I did get the bill, pic attached, there was a charge for 4 beers, not 3 which was what was ordered. You can also see how the wrong cooking requests were on the bill.
Very disappointed for the hype we were given prior to arrival.
I am willing to let some things slide but 4 issues is a big deal for me.
Anyone that has read my previous reviews of other establishments knows that I am fair when it comes to thing and I am willing to go back and try again. I understand everyone has a bad day but, this was a little too extreme for me.
To end with something positive, the staff was nice, place was spotless and very attractive.

We decided to stop by after soccer practice and ordered some food and unfortunately all of our food was burnt. However they did offer us $15 off our bill and we were still charged $71.

One of her items was a $40 steak that was super burnt.

We are here as we had vouchers from the hotel (came once for dinner and once for breakfast). The food was overpriced and the quality was not good. We would have been better off eating elsewhere even with the vouchers. I had eggplant Parmesan that was completely burned and the spaghetti tasted like it had tomato paste on top with no seasoning. It was very disappointing and some of the staff were rude. The bartender was great though! We just won’t be coming back in the future:/

Visited in August we got a steak (mostly grissle) frozen vegetables and over cooked starchy potatoes. My drink was amazing, but my friend cucumber martini was horrible. Ask to replace it and we were told as soon as it hits table waitress was unable to replace it. Party of 6 bill was $330.00. Most expensive T-V dinner ever.

Came here for breakfast since we were staying at the hotel and had $10 off for each person. I ordered a breakfast sandwich bacon egg and cheese on a brioche. The bread didn’t taste fresh and there were only two strips of bacon. The service was good with friendly staff.

The food was pretty brutal. $16 for what I think was very possibly a frozen burger. Our waitress would disappear for long stretches at a time but was very nice. Way overpriced and underwhelming but I guess they get away with it because of the tourists. The band in the bar was pretty good and playing some great classic rock so plus one star there.
