Bryn Mawr Film Institute reviews
15Our new favorite place to see a movie! Clean, comfortable, and you can buy a small popcorn and small soda for under $8.
Bryn Mawr plays Indie movies which are modern & classics. Like the old fashion ambiance of theatre. Movie crew always wonderful & pleasant to offer assistance to patrons!
This was my 1st time at this theater and I really liked it. I love how they show older movies as well ad the Hollywood hits. I'll definitely be back
This theater has undergone a beautiful transformation to increase the number of screens as well other amenities. It is smaller than most multiplexes but still quite enjoyable.
Cute and neat building conveniently located, safe and quick covid check-in policy, wonderful newest films!
Such a wonderful place to learn and be entertained. Having BMFI within walking distance is one of the top amenities in where we live.
I can't speak to ticket pricing, but for an 'art house' theater, it is very nice. Before going here, you need to realize it's not a typical theater; it only has a 3/4 theaters and those theaters generally show indie films only. If you're into that sort of thing though I would recommend this place. I can't speak to ticket pricing, but for an 'art house' theater it is great.it has a really nice atmosphere, a solid coffee shop attached, and it even offers film classes and lectures.
Easy to get tickets, easy to park, comfortable enough although the new reclining seats that so many theaters now have would have been preferable. It wasn't too hot or too cold nor the sound too loud.
Terrific movies, not the usual fare at the mega-theaters. With 4 screens, the offerings are varied. And, terrific popcorn! They have films which require socially distanced seating and vaccination.
Beautiful historic building well-preserved and Visually very appealing, indoor Cafe style seating in a grand foyer is an unusual and quaint welcoming feature.
Grateful that they are socially relevant films like Michael Moore's 11/9 which was timely and well attended.highly encourage everyone to view it and think about it no matter what side you think you're on now.
If you make it through the music without Popcorn, you may get lucky enough to take home a bag of leftovers, as they are high-minded enough to share it rather than wasting it. If you can't use it yourself you could gift someone less fortunate.
Staff was really nice and friendly and Christian the manager answered questions himself when I phoned ahead to verify details for my group.
Beautiful movie theater. Comfortable seats, great selection of movies and cinema events. The showing I went to had reserved seats which was great. I love it that you can order and pay for concessions in advance and have them ready and waiting for you.
What a cute little authentic theater! Super clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly, and the concessions and tickets are priced very reasonably. I love that they kept the authenticity of the theater when remodeling. I also appreciate that they require proof of vaccination and masks upon entering. I will definitely be returning to watch future films!
I love visiting this theater. The people are pleasant and it's never over crowded, no matter what's playing. It's my top choice!
The best place to see all sorts of films you'd never see otherwise! Staff is kind and courteous and the place takes COVID-19 very seriously. Best theater.
When your friend rolls out all of the better things AMC got going on these days, and you simply sigh and exclaim "but their movies blow. "
