The highlights here were definitely the fried chicken & warm biscuits. The chicken was juicy & flavorful, with a delicious crunch.

Although very aesthetically pleasing, the ribs & grilled hanger steak were decent, but not outstanding.

As a fair warning - we visited for a Friday night meal, and the atmosphere was very noisy & overall difficult for conversation.

Food came out fast with great service from the waitress. All aspects of the plate were great. Chicken was amazing

Stopped in for Sunday brunch and was able to get a table for 3 outside. Drink special was a Big Wave Michelada, which was very good. The short rib chilaquiles were awesome.

Super dense and delicious cinnamon bun. That thing was a behemoth, basically a steak. Chicken sandwich was alright nothing crazy

We enjoyed eating their new year's prix fixe dinner in the restaurant - lovely customer service and set up.we also really enjoyed their recent fried chicken take home dinner.we were disappointed by their july 4th take home dinner because they forgot to include a dish (the watermelon salad) plus their content and proportions were not as well balanced.the shrimp po-boy was surprisingly good for a take home - the way they formed the po boy ensured freshness despite the drive.half a cob of corn wasn't enough to balance against the cold salad (and we didn't even have the second one!).

The food would have been better if the whole restaurant did not smell like trash. They leave an absurd amount of trash for pickup directly in front of their entrance and the stench makes its way into the restaurant often.

The food is good, but the portion sizes are small in comparison to what you get. A solid option for sharing plates.

I love this place! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and our waitress was just the sweetest. Great find!

My friend and I had Sunday brunch there a couple of weeks ago, and although the food was tasty, it was also lukewarm and swimming in grease. The din in the restaurant was so loud you could barely hear yourself think and the service was subpar. We won't be returning.

We very much enjoyed ourselves this evening! Mac was awesome and gave us exceptional service! Apps, dinner, dessert, and multiple cocktails! All of it was fabulous! Thanks for having us! Beyond impressed!

Delicious food. Felt like a good home cooked meal. We ordered a variety of plates, very good place to share food. The fried and brick chicken are delicious.

Interesting updates of traditional Americana dishes like meat loaf, wedge salad and shrimp cocktail.

I went with my mom the other night, and the experience was truly shocking. I ordered the short rib stroganoff and while the taste was great, it was way too salty. My “salt-tolerance” is pretty high, so for me to think something is really salty means it REALLY is. The hot chicken was really mediocre and not what we expected. Never mind that- that’s not the shocking part. The shocking part was the fact that the waitress took away all our utensils when we asked for a takeout box and she told us to use our hands to put the chicken in the box. OUR HANDS. That is ridiculous. I get we have to do it ourselves, but we have to use our hands to transfer the chicken to the box? It’s truly outrageous.

Mom and I had a blast at Bud and Marilyn's! We shared the chicken and waffles and the warm pecan cinnamon roll! They were both delicious. But our waitress was extraordinary! She was friendly, attentive, considerate and simply amazing!

The beat expresso Martini. We love the food it was more of a clary experience than just a simple dinner. A tad pricey but definitely worth it.
