Budget Car Rental, Erie PA

Would be nice if they answered the phone! So once they answer the phone. I keep getting a guy named Alex. I’ve never rented a car, and have no idea what I’m doing. So I have questions it’s your job to answer these questions. Politely and patiently assuming you want my money! Customer service just absolutely sucks.

I rented a truck to move, got it all packed up to go and went to start it and it is completely dead will not start at all. Had to unload it and now waiting for someone to come and see if they can fix it. Unbelievable, this puts me so far behind. Maybe have a mechanic check out their trucks before they rent them out.

I came with debit card not credit card like I was suppose to have! Staff was patient and let me work it out can’t say how great they made the experience that could have gone a whole other way!

We rented a vehicle to Vacation in Louisville Kentucky with our grandchildren. The vehicle CONTINUOUSLY LOCKED UP on OUR 10 year old grandchild choking her and leaving her TERRIFIED to be in the vehicle. IT WAS AWEFUL! All the counter persons said well that’s what they’re suppose to do or she was pulling on it! Total Bullshyte! Needless to say we WILL NOT BE RENTING FROM THEM AGAIN!

Employee was friendly and quick at this location. I was in and out in 4 minutes or less. Inside of the building looked really clean, great cool AC, and was much nicer than the other location I went to. Very affordable prices.

When my husband and I picked up car.very nice vehicle. Drawbacks were car reaked of smoked and dog/cat hair all over. Not good. Man at desk gave us nearly empty can of Lyso and said he was sorry.l

Extremely difficult to get a human to speak to. Frustrated more as each moment passes. Had to hang up after getting the same looping messages.

Don't even try to rent a car unless you have a plane ticket. If you don't you will NEVER be able to drive ANYTHING off their lot regardless of the circumstances

Is my res number 31242322US6. You sent me to one pmace then yold me to go to the next. Both are closed. I asked for a refund and you said no. Im sitting in the parking lot of the 2nd location. I will wait 15 minutes. Come get me so i can get a car or return my money. This was 100% illegal and Im calling to file a police report in 30 minutes if not resolved

Friendly and easy to deal with. The car we rented was just what we needed and in great condition.

I went in there to get a rental and they said that I need a regular credit card they will not accept my bank debit card as payment. So therefore I could not get a car thanks to that new rule they have.

Booked online, called the day before to confirm reservation. Everything was confirmed and was told to bring payment when picking up the car. I show up and wait for my turn at the counter. I proceeded to hand them my debit card and was told they don't accept debit cards that is clearly marked on the sign. Which I seen but my " debit " card can be run as credit! I was told to bring back a family member or friend to rent the car and put me on as a additional driver which would have cost more money. This payment issue should have been made clear While I was reserving the vehicle as well as when I called and confirmed the car the day before. I'm oblivious as to why they can't accept "debit " cards, they place a hold on the funds anyway if their not available then the card declines.obviously they only like certain forms of money to run their business. I've rented several cars in the past from other companies and have never seen this type of practice.

Great service and nice & friendly staff. Convenient pick up and drop off also. Rental was clean and ran well.
