Budget Host Three Crowns Motor Lodge, Gettysburg PA

Location is excellent and the guy who cleans the rooms goes above and beyond to help you. Management is terrible and they always overcharge us every time we visit. They quote you one price over the phone and when you get there they have some excuse to charge you more.

It's not a 5 star hotel. But it's inexpensive, close to the battlefield and a short walk from the center of town. My room was clean, the staff was friendly and they checked on if we needed anything if they saw us.

The only thing going for this place is the location. Everything else SUCKS. It’s a party spot for middle aged people who sit literally right outside your room till 2am smoking and drinking and being loud and one of them is even an employee. She’s a woman who believes she’s a man and is even making the transition. That was night 1. Night 2 the bikers showed up to join the party. Revving engines, drinking beer and being loud. If you ever want to sleep this isn’t the place for you. If you want a perfect location in the middle of everything then stay here but don’t plan on sleeping much. The beds are hard as a rock and the outdated hotel is just BLAH… everything is from the 70s except the updated flooring. Nobody ever at the desk even during check out. We left our keys on the desk and said screw it. Outside every room is a very nice coffee can for Butts. In fact all the rooms have them. Very beautiful and attractive. Also outside the room is a few chairs which were stolen by the bikers and their gang. We asked about getting more chairs since ours were stolen and we were told oh yea no prob I’ll bring them over next week. What good does that do me? The ADVERTISED FREE BREAKFAST is a coffee and a pre packaged Twinkie. Highly overpriced motel and take my word, avoid at all costs. Go down the road. This place is a dump and a joke. Never again.

This was a nice hotel for the price we got it for. Rooms where nice most people who stayed there were nice. Chuck was very friendly and so were his co workers. Probably will stay again in the future.

The only thing this business has going for it is location. My one week stay in town for work was excruciatingly miserable; in town for a month or two. Take the same amount of money and go to another hotel. So many things wrong here and the owner could care less.

Water at shower head leaks
Shower head is not adjustable
No hot water in shower (mixer is faulty).
AC does not work
Damp and humid in room
No microwave
Bed close to bathroom is broken
Electric outlets so warn nothing will stay plugged in
The smell of urine in the bathroom reminded me of a porta john.
If you plug in a blow dryer the electric in the room flickers continuously.
If you work nights, forget trying to sleep during the day. Video

I travel for work, a lot and this has got to be the worse lodging I have ever experienced.

Basic older motel. WiFi, close to cemetery hill. Fairly priced. Basic bed and bathroom. Clean rooms. Outlets are starting to wear out.

I had booked a room for last week my son was in a accident and was killed they never issued my refund

Location was great. My husband and I walked to everything except the battlefield. I have never slept well in hotels, but the beds here provided me some of the best sleep I've gotten in a long time! 5 stars for comfy beds. If you don't mind basic inexpensive yet clean lodging with no frills, this is the perfect place to stay.

Location is good but the price of a room went up too much which is why I give this review 3 stars! Used to stay here all the time when you could get a room for much less than what they charge now! Rooms were fair!

The accommodations were as described and expected based on the room prices. The room was clean and everything seemed to work properly.
The front desk worker for most of the days, whose name escapes me, was largely unfriendly and direct. After forgetting to leave the housekeeping tag on my door, I asked for some towels for my room, and she informed me there were no other towels available. The next morning, I found out that the actual problem was that the housekeeper had taken the key to the laundry/towel room home with him. Not sure how that is an acceptable business practice. Also worth mentioning, my room was not cleaned the second day after leaving the housekeeping tag on the door.

The manager Lee and the housekeeper whose name escapes me at the moment are phenomenal. They will do anything they can to make your stay perfect. The motel is dated and could use a serious remodel. The rooms are dated with colored tiles that match the bathtub and toilet. First place I have ever stayed that didn't have an in room coffee maker or microwave. No hair dryers in the rooms either. The "continental" breakfast is a couple honey buns in the lobby. The staff are fantastic, but the owner needs to open his wallet a little more to make improvements. The motel is within walking distance of most anything you want to do in Gettysburg.

Love this place.
The manager Harlin is so sweet, he allowed my family and I to check in a day earlier than expected and safely held our luggages until we were done with an event.
Chuck, the house keeper and his wife had our room spotless and smelling good.
The room was smoke free and the beds and pillows were comfy.
Property was very clean and no trash or butts were on the ground.
This was our 4th year here.
My son read a book to me by the pool while my youngest swam and met a friend.
Good vibes. Catelyn, the receptionist had a big smile and was also very pleasant during my arrival.
Price was good, room was clean, good vibes, good enough for me.

Room was small and dated but very clean. Wifi is not great but fine for watching YouTube or scrolling social media of your choice. Door liked to stick and required a good amount of force to open. AC was nice and cold. All told a good value!

We're from Buckhannon wv. This is our go-to place whenever we visit Gettysburg. Very friendly, clean, and great service. 5 stars all around!

A great value for the money! No frills but very clean and affordable. Some recent renovations. The location is in downtown Gettysburg - within great walking distance to shops, parks, eateries and museum. Will plan to stay here again!

The motel is old. There are insects.spiders & stink bugs. They allow dogs but their undisclosed pet fee is very high. Breakfast consists of cheap coffee & packaged pastries.
