Budget Store & Lock Self Storage, Allentown PA

I’ve worked with Budget Storage to store my son’s college stuff during the summer breaks. They pick up the items and drop them off at the start of the school year. It’s always an absolute pleasure working with Cathy, Joe, etc. They are communicative, professional, efficient and punctual. They are extremely kind and supportive to the staff helping with the move. They truly make the day more pleasant. Best money ever spent! Can’t recommend enough.

When I walked in office first time, older man started yelling about how it was near closing, and me opening a unit would cause him to stay after closing time. Eventually, I got a unit and filled out paperwork with Mr. Grumpy.
I called back the following week to make sure everything was in order, because I didn’t trust Mr. Grumpy. Turns out the owner didn’t have a record of me in the system and that there isn’t any paperwork. I told owner I had paperwork and she was shocked she had no copy and that it wasn’t in the system. I told owner about Mr. Grumpy. She said she is aware of the problem. Why is he still working there if you are aware of the problem!? I also needed a lock. The owner said she will put one on my unit for me. I called back with a question and it turns out the owner forgot to put the lock on the unit. She put one on the unit for me.
I went to empty the unit and close it down. Owner said she actually did have a lock on it the whole time. If that’s true, what happened when you told me you didn’t put the lock on, and went to the unit and installed the lock? How did that happen if there was already a lock on the unit!?

Unprofessional and confusing behavior since the moment I walked in the door.

As far as self storage goes, we've been very happy!

The entire experience was amazing. From the opening email communications to opening the account to moving our items in and out to closing the account after 12 months of use, it was as smooth as glass. In fact, I one left the latch on the open position by accident and received a call the next day indicating I had not properly latched the door. The customer experience is simply outstanding.

All service is satisfactory. Items stored were safe, convenient access times, I recommend to use this place to store your belongings.

There is plenty I could say but want the focus to be on Sharon. She provided the best service every time I spoke with her. She made making payments easy and convenient. I stored it for a long time and never one time did I have to worry. I highly recommend it, the service was impeccable

When we got there with a fully loaded truck and two cars, we couldn't get in. The gate code I was given didn't work! This was a Sunday, so the office was closed. I called the next day and it turned out I was never entered into the system. They gave us a gate code that worked, and a free month, but it was a pain!
