Picked up a quick order made through the phone for a sick friend. Fast prep and pickup. Walked in, paid then walked out.

Who puts tail on shrimp inside a chimichanga?
Normally we have a 5-star experience from Buena Vista. Last week the food was tasteless and the shrimp tails hidden inside the chimi were extremely off-putting.

Authentic food overall. I regularly come here. The decor is decent, I wish some dishes were more authentic.

Some items are rather overpriced, especially for the size.

Chips, guacamole and salsa are extremely salty. Enough to make even those who May like salty foods do a double take. It’s not a mistake—these have been salty the several times I’ve tried them.

Honestly, not a lot of good Mexican in our area, but their shrimp burrito with verde sauce is OUTSTANDING. Had it twice in three days after my first visit, and am craving it right now in Jamaica. First meal when I return. A little pricey for a burrito but happy to pay for quality.

This is a great place. Food is authentic. Price is lower than you would expect for Wayne area. It is really clean and bright. The chimichanga was fresh cooked with tasty meat. They either forgot the chips and salsa or have stopped serving. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.

I hate giving this place one star as their food is pretty darn good. But operationally they are a total disaster. Website says they’re open until 9: 00. As does their blinking “open” sign. But they seem to shut their kitchen down at 8: 00, which in and of itself is confounding. Their Menu won’t load off the site. Food is often prepared incorrectly. And the two times I have brought this up (very kindly with the gentleman at the register counter), I have been told that it’s my fault for not knowing this. Huh? It’s sometimes the easiest things done wrong that can ruin a business. This place constantly disappoints with their screw ups.

This is a little hidden gem, just off the main drag. It is well worth it. Great food, good portions at reasonable prices. I plan on stopping in next time I am in the area.

Great corn tortillas, soft and don't break apart Al pastor tacos in classic style are fantastic.

They had customers in and out the entire time I was there even though it was only 15 minutes

Unlike many of our other pre-pandrmic favorites, Buena Vista has fantastic takeout. Freshly prepared, ready when promised, hot, and delicious! Almost as good as the food truck in Lone Pine CA, but 2000 miles closer.
