Bullfrog Brewery reviews
19Perfect place for a late lunch. Ordered a flight and took a 4-pack home of our favorite. Sweet potato fries are delish. Huge portions of fish and chips. Yum!
We had a great lunch! The food was delicious & such good quality. We will definitely be coming back
Located in downtown Williamsport. This brewery is such a gem. If you like sour beer this is a must visit and remember to grab a bottle or two to take with you
Sunday Brunch is amazing! Great food, friendly service, perfect bohemian atmosphere and there’s even live music!
The couple of times we've spent the weekend in Williamsport we've come to Bullfrog because my husband and I love their beers and they never disappoint. They have a large selection of beers for every taste. I love their ipas and the Belgian style. Food is ok. We went with friends and we got the frogobello sandwich, a burger, a veg stir fry, and the pork belly Mac and cheese. They were good but nothing special. The frogobello was dry but tasted good and the pork belly on the mac and cheese was all fat but overall it was a decent dinner.
Service is usually fast but last time they were understaffed and it was very slow.
The inside is big and there are a lot of tables but they also add a few tables outside on the sidewalk. We went both times on a Saturday and it gets packed at all times.
Overall good could be better but I especially recommend it for the beers.
Party of 6. Simple food and drink orders. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, but my Mac and cheese came out a bit cold.
Root beer was very tasty and one of my party members was over the moon about the amount of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu.
Will definitely be going back.
Super interesting brewery with over 20 beers. The cauldrons with the filling system can be seen from the bar or restaurant. The bar has a nice American design and the local beers are very good. The food is also delicious and served quickly. What's interesting is that you probably only get a beer from the age of 25. As a German who enjoyed his first beer before he was 16, this is quite shocking.
This place was cool and had classic brew pub food: burgers, fries, salads. We sat in a booth and I was facing into an open dining room. I watched other patrons come in, get seated-and then get served their food before we did.
I don't like my food to be very hot, but it was not "hot enough" by my standards. My husband declared it "cold".
If it had been served promptly, the food would have been good.
I don't drink beer so I can't comment on that.
Visited Williamsport for a family wedding. It was the first time we had visited the Bullfrog since 1998. We were so glad we went back. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was delicious. I had the smoked pork belly mac and cheese. It was delightful!
Good food and good drinks. Friendly staff were able to offer us some insight into nearby outdoor attractions.good selection of beers. Food was very good.
Always a great time here. Delicious food, friendly staff, great atmosphere and right across from the Community Art Center so can only catch a bite before or after the show. Also walking distance from the AMC downtown so same goes for there? Prices are also very reasonable and I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience once in all my times going to Bullfrog.
Stopped by for lunch on Sunday and pleasantly surprised to have brunch! Great staff, food was delicious, drinks were tasty.
Lovely, low key brewery and restaurant. Friendly and attentive bartender and waitress. Smoked porkbelly on the Caesar salad was worth writing home about.
Hellbender Red Ale and Chill Pils were solid brews. My first ever moments in Williamsport were enjoyed here and I hope to return soon to try more of their beers and menu offerings.
Love the bullfrog. They have great food and beer. Even the rootbeer is unbelievable. Definitely my favorite place in the Williamsport area.
If you're visiting Williamsport and are a hophead you need to make this pilgrimage. Really interesting beers, and the food was delish too.
We went for brunch a couple of Sundays. They had outdoor seating available both times, wish was great, and really good food. The brunch dishes are creative and filling and the coffee is excellent. The beer is of course very good as well, as was the bloody Mary. We tried the salmon stack, spinach Benedict, huevos rancheros, French toast, and sour cream pancakes, and all were excellent. The service was prompt and friendly, even though they were quite busy and the outside seating is a walk for them.
Was kinda excited to try this place. Everything started off great. Ordered the pierogi which were not good at all. The sour I ordered was meh. For mains I got the sausage sandwich which was the driest sausage I ever ate. Wife got the Rueben which was best thing we had ordered. We both got the battered fries which were so oily. Then the worst part is we waited over 20 minutes for our waitress to show up to ask for our check. I think she was too busy trying to help the diva musician get ready idk, Once we got our food she was MIA.
In addition to the many home-brewed beers, there are great burgers, vegetarian food and home-made fries. The waiter was very nice and took great care of us. Here you will mainly meet locals and will be invited directly to the pub quiz.
Arrived late we were served despite everything, very good service and as a bonus a live concert.
I recommend
