Burkes Ace Home Center reviews
9You will find what you need and the people are generous in finding what you need and are very polite
They always have what I need. It's not unusual to make multiple trips here when I'm working on a project. Great prices on quality valspar paint too
The staff here is so friendly and helpful! They beat out several other stores for pricing, and coupled with their high level of customer service, have found a new repeat customer. They all go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need before you leave. They have an impressive variety of products to choose from that rivals some of the larger chain stores. So glad I found them!
Sometimes they don't have the things you need. Some items are no longer available, even online or they have been discontinued. Wish they had more bath tub options. Store is crowded with items that have been there for awhile, you can tell by the dust.
They are the Lowe’s of St. Marys. Nuts, bolts, seals, screws. They have most. If you are getting lumber, carpet, or anything like that I would take your own tape measure and double check things. You think it’s rude, but save yourself the hassle. I needed half sheets of plywood for a project one time. I ended up with one “half” two inches too short. Couldn’t use it. I asked them to half an 8 foot board to put in my truck bed. Not even close. I went there for carpet for a porch. I got a slight trapezoid, and the longest side was too short by 2 inches. I’m not saying they all can’t measure, but just be careful. I’m not here to bash anyone. I’m just being honest.
They had what I was looking for this time. That has not always been the case. Prices are a bit high for my liking, but they are more convenient to me than Lowe's and Walmart didn't have what I needed!
They have half of what you need and everything you don't. Always hiring people, but never follow up with applicants. Rather an expensive option compared to Home Depot or Lowes. Knowledgeable staff is a hit or miss.
Always have nice stuff at reasonable prices. Locally owned too. Always feels good to go to hometown businesses. Instead of corporate companies. Thanks to our wonderful Gov. Wolf he is destroying these businesses.
They are polite, rentals are cheap, and they don't screw around. Lot of experience around their employees. They'll do you right.
Got some scaffolding on rent for a roof job & a break for aluminum siding. Fastest in/out tool rent place around. Gets you what you need and back on the job quickly. Just bring your trailer and you're g2g. Just be a man and ask, and you'll get great service.
