This place is terrible. The owner and employee are terribly rude. I would give it zero stars if I could. There is very little selection and everything is overpriced. I never write reviews, but honestly wanted to warn the public not to come here because it is so awful and unpleasant.

Took my son here to make a painting for his 3rd birthday, the staff immediately looked at us in weird manner, asked what we'd like to do we chose a canvas, the first staff went to get a canvas, did not welcome us, did not ask us if we wanted to sit anywhere so awkwardly we stood there waiting for her to get a canvas, she came out initially on her phone. I then had to ask if we could be seated, and if they had any smocks, she replied no, I said ok. After being seated she finally brought out the canvas. The whole encounter was awkward, and when I went to pay I handed her the money, she placed my change on the counter even tho my hand was out waiting. It's a weird encounter, I do not recommend.

My daughter (5) was invited to a party here. At first I thought what a wonderful idea. I quickly changed my mind when the staff was very rude to the kids for “ not following directions” when half of the party had yet to receive any directions at all.parents were told to sit down at a table bc we were blocking the walkway.which ok that makes sense. But then were told that parents don’t usually stay and that we should be charged for the table. We were then told to go help our kids paint to make sure they were doing it correctly, I wonder what they do when those other parents don’t stay to help their children? They made many comments throughout the party I guess thinking we were not able to hear or they simply didn’t care. The party was supposed to be 2-4 and was cut short bc the staff was very forward about not wanting us there anymore. The kids which consisted of 7 girls were very well behaved for a group of 5 and 6 year olds. It’s clear these women have never had experience with children as they would know they can be silly. Sounds like they shouldn’t offer parties for kids that young if they don’t like giggling and being silly. Would absolutely not recommend going here, choose another option. I was very uncomfortable the entire time and all the other mothers felt the same way. I am blown away that a small business would treat people that poorly.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating and they had a great selection to choose from! We had a great time!

Staff was great. They have a vast selection of colors and things to paint. Well orchestrated. Waiting for final results.

Don’t waste your money. Instructor does not lead by modeling or keep an example of the artwork visible. She gives verbal directions only and scolds guests who don’t perform as she dictates, horrible experience. Also, the cashier was rude.

My wife purchased 4 gift cards totaling $80 for our nieces and nephew before the pandemic. When they scheduled time to redeem them they were told that the gift cards were no longer valid due to a change in ownership. Same store, same name, same location. $80 down the drain.

I was invited to a instructional painting session. Others in the group were late and there was a misunderstanding with the host.

I can’t say that the situation was handled well by the person in charge. Every answer she gave from the second we arrived was condescending. Her employees looked absolutely intimidated by her and could barely say words of their own. She stared from across the room several times throughout the day with a glaring look in her eyes. She acted shocked that we might need extra paint. There were many small things like that combined that made for a very unwelcoming time.

As for the instructional paint session. Do not waste your time. 2 instructions were giving. The canvas began with sharpie already on it before we arrived. We were to use sharpie on our image which in my opinion, takes away from the fact that we came to paint. Very poor quality instruction and image.

I’ve been to several instructional paint sessions at other businesses and they will blow this place out of the water any day. And the other places were less money with very welcoming staff.

I will only recommend this place for their pottery. I saw they had summer camp sessions but knowing how rudely we were treated. I would never allow my kids to go there.

Update: even in their response, they can’t just simply take responsibility. I already stated there was a misunderstanding. The FACT remains that we were met with rudeness from the same second we walked in. Of course, someone will react rudely in return. Now I for sure kept my mouth shut and watched it all go down. All I’m saying is as a paying customer. Keep your money. Spend it where they will treat you with human decency and if there is a problem.handle it like a business owner should. Not like we’re at a high school lunch table.

Great place for a private painting party. The instructors are great and the paintings always turn out better than expected. Highly recommend

We had a great time. Super experience there, they were extremely helpful and friendly. My wife asked them for tips and suggestions during pottery and they were helpful in all ways possible. Definitely recommending BUSY BEE POTTERY to anyone who is looking for a nice dating idea!

Horrible experience. I made reservations for a date night with my husband. We were pretty excited to try this place out and we were disappointed by the inattentive, dismissive staff. We left without doing anything since we had no direction of what to do. We were literally standing there and no one approached us to ask if we needed assistance. I felt like no one wanted to help us. This was my first time at Busy Bee Pottery and most likely my last time there.

It was our first time there and we were not sure about the services. The two staff members who approached us did not explain the process and they came off as dismissive to our questions or inquiries. The staff appeared bothered by the fact that we were unsure of what services we wanted. The table was ready since I did make the reservations for a special date night with my husband. Unfortunately, the staff who supposedly "helped us" was busy on her phone after she told us to look at the items on the table and pointed to a paper with pricing. We seriously did not have a clue of what we were choosing from this table. I was willing to continue with experience but my husband also noticed that the staff didn't seem to care very much about trying to help us figure out what we wanted to do or offer guidance. As a resident of this area I would really like to see businesses like this strive but I just feel like the staff needs to work on being more friendly and willing to offer some guidance and instructions on what to do (by the way a video without audio will lack the full interaction of what happened).

Great customer service everyone was really nice here. Great activity for everyone. Super clean and sanitized. 10/10 recommend. Will be back

I came here very open minded and enthusiastic to try this place, but unfortunately the service was poor they barely greeted us with no smile. And when I asked what services they offered they seemed a bit confused.

Went here to make a Christmas gift for my husband with my 10 year olds and was pleased. Everything is nicely set up and pleasing to the eye. I met the new owner, Kimberly, and she was fantastic. We got a lot more instruction than in past visits and felt comfortable immediately. Great atmosphere! Will definitely be back again! Thank you for a great time!

Called several places for art & crafts to do with my 3 year old. Busy Bees was the only place for his age group. Absolutely loved how kid friendly the staff is. Definitely going again & again.
