CACL Federal Credit Union, Pottsville PA

The people of CACL are organized, prompt, to the point and if necessary, they go way out of their way to insure my family's needs are met. I could not ask for a better banking experience.

Joined this bank with the understanding they would have their milk creek location opened by now. I don’t want to go to center city Pottsville. When will it open? !?

Online banking and mobile banking are always down. About to switch credit unions this is getting to be an issue that’s not changing.

1 star for terrible customer service and horrible online banking.the mobile app is always down. Only signed up wanting to deal with a credit union and not a bank.ill be looking to go elsewhere in Schuylkill county.the radio advertisements are wrong.this place is not the best bank in the county.

Nice place to bank, however the mobile app and online banking are a huge pain in the neck when it comes to the login process. The code sheet they use is so outdated it's sad and frustrating. The staff is wonderful and that's why this is not a one star rating.

Teller named: Brandi was amazing friendly and outgoing a true asset to your organization. I always use the drive thru but today I went inside and was blown away at the Friendliness. Thanks you

Best financial institution in Schuylkill County by far! CACL is my #1 choice for all of my banking needs. Great group of people who graciously give back to the community and help people get back on their feet in time of need.

Been with CACL for over two years, was recently charged with an overdraft fee, called and spoke to a woman who felt the need to tell me I’m not responsible enough to have a checking account, I don’t know how to manage money, and kept on repeating herself rather than just telling me why I had the fee. I’ve never been treated so poorly by CACL.

I was a victim of a mistake made by a person not doing her job, that just snow balled into a mess. If this person would have done they're job the issue would have been caught and correct. NO instead they moved my money around without me knowing to try and cover there mistakes.

Kay at the credit union did refund me and fix the error and fire the person but now I have a bad mark on my credit rating.

I didn't even get a apology letter or anything from them.

It's time to move my money and loan out of there.

Pros: Anyone can get an account here.

Cons: . Funds availability policy is basically you are at the mercy of the branch manager. A local check drawn on a local bank, given to me by a family member. And they put a 7 business day hold on it.

Bottom Line: Only go here if you are desperate or have no bills to pay.

Love this place! Great for banking and a superior lending institution! The staff is always friendly and helpful.
