What a unique restaurant! We heard about the food and experience, so we wanted to check it out.

We really enjoyed the opportunity to walk around the museum and see some of the art - definitely worth a visit!

The food was good as well, but the experience is where this place really shines.

We started with the smoked Salmon, which was a good quality of smoked salmon with some great pairings.

The short rib we thought was good as well, but the real standout was the fish which was very well prepared and seasoned. The crispy skin was outstanding.

Cafe Arielle and Stabin Museum are a MUST while visiting Jim Thorpe. We have been going to Jim Thorpe for years but this was our first time dining at Cafe Arielle and purchasing the most amazing art. I honestly can't say enough GREAT, wonderful things about this venue. We will definitely be returning.
We reserved the river table top bar, super cool! We enjoyed the BEHAVE martini, named after one of Victor's pieces of art. We had the shrimp cocktail, and duck egg rolls. Absolutely delicious. For our entrees we had the pan seared branzino, and the braised beef short ribs. Talk about melt in your mouth.
Make a reservation or stop in you will be glad you did! It was an awesome night for our anniversary and husband's birthday. I can't wait to return! And make sure to check out the Stabin Museum filled with unique, AMAZING art!

Pros: beautiful artwork and river experience.
Cons: Waitress was unkind. She treated me like I was a simpleton when I asked a question about the drink menu. One of our dishes never made it to the table and when we asked for it to be cancelled (after it still had not arrived and we were all almost done eating) she insisted it was coming. She eventually agreed to cancel it and as the server came out with the dish she quickly directed the server to take it away (in a very rude manner). I point that out not because I wanted it at that time but because it again showed her annoyed attitude towards the situation. She gave us the bill with the dish included! When we brought the error to her attention, she complained about how busy she was. She did appear busy and flustered.
We all left feeling disappointed.

I hope this written feedback provides the owners with some valuable insights to make the appropriate corrections.

I had a wonderful time at Cafe Arielle last week. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and, without exaggeration, it was one a the most delicious ones I’ve ever eaten. I topped it off with a Bloody Mary, which was also fantastic. The atmosphere was great, very quaint and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and gracious. Highly recommend!

Wow-I did not expect a rude response from the owner but frankly am not surprised. No, I don’t review many restaurants but felt the need to express our disappointing experience in some way. I didn’t write anything because I wouldn’t want to get anyone fired but felt the need to share that the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. We were only in town for 1 night and are bummed that we wasted our time and our money at your establishment. So rather someone else make the same mistake, I decided to just leave a lower star review. But since you asked, the waitress was rude, the food was mediocre and overpriced and the wait was too long. Hope that helps you improve and proves I’m not “suss. ”

I’m not a culinary guru but I do love great food. My wife and I were walking by and met Chef John, the rest was history. He showed us some of the museum and some of quirky things about it (JAZZ!) then we sat outside and had and absolutely fantastic meal. I got the wild mushroom quesadilla and it was 10/10. What an absolutely fantastic experience. We will definitely be coming here as regularly as we can from Philly until we move to the area and make the wonderful spot our home base.

Yesterday was my second time eating at Cafe Arielle in Jim Thorpe, PA. I wish I lived closer so I could go every week! Both times I ordered the pear, walnut, Gorgonzola salad with grilled chicken. Their house made balsamic makes this salad superb! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Chef John goes above and beyond to serve his customers! Yesterday he drove the cafe shuttle because the original driver broke his foot. Try to take that free shuttle as the cafe is at the top of a long hill. Will definitely be back! Thanks so much to everyone!

A lovely gem tucked away in the mountain town of Jim Thorpe. Our server Cyben was fantastic. The back patio has a great atmosphere. We met the chef who graduated from the same culinary school as Anthony Bourdain-you can tell, the soup was so good we bought some to go so we could enjoy the next day too. If you're in the area stop by to enjoy some excellent unique artwork. Thank you to Jessica too!

Second visit within a few weeks. Excellent food, and extremely cool surrounds. A great addition to local eatery offerings. Oh- don't miss the 'crick'!

We arrived at 11am, we were the first customer. Were seated promptly at the table we requested. Waitress brought us water right away. We ordered drinks and they were brought in a timely matter (waitress had to make the bloody mary and mimosas). We placed our order, 45 minutes later we asked the waitress about our order, she did not come back to check on our table to see if we wanted another drink. She stated that the food would be out in a few minutes, she apologized. When we received our order the french toast was slightly burnt on the bottom. The omelet was very good. Overall we were very disappointed in the service, quality of food and the price. We were looking forward to coming for dinner, that probably will not happen now.

Had brunch there this afternoon and really enjoyed it! The omelet was fresh and flavorful and the bacon was superb. The service was good and the setting was pleasant. This was our first time here and definitely not our last!

An all around delight. My friend and I enjoyed the artwork of Victor Stabin, and then headed over to Cafe Arielle where we were seated at the "coolest" table (as described by our server). This building was constructed over the Mauch Chunk creek, and there is a glass box in the floor which allows guests to view the creek flowing while enjoying a nice meal. Would absolutely recommend this place.

We always have a wonderful time at Jazz Night at Vic’s Jazz Loft at Cafe Arielle. From the hidden door and speakeasy vibe, to the incredible music, to the delicious dinner and drinks, this is a not to miss spot when you come to Jim Thorpe.

We’ve been coming to Jim Thorpe for years and always stop short of walking further up broadway. What a huuuge mistake! This place is foodie fire! The combination of a surrealist artist AND a culinary artist makes for an amazing dining experience that’s just unmatched in the area. Add in a visit to the attached Stabin Museum and Galleries with a near perfect martini while you wait and finish with some chill live jazz at Vic’s Jazz loft (also attached) and the night is complete. This place and its attachments is even more of a reason to visit Jim Thorpe than it is to just stumble by and grab a bite, though you can do that too if you want.

The cafe is right next to Victor Stabin's museum and might as well be considered an extension of the museum itself.

We were beckoned inside by Victor himself and had the pleasure of spending our afternoon in this wonderful corner of Jim Thorpe.

I highly recommend this place. The food is stellar with an albeit smaller menu and the atmosphere is so cozy and casual.

Loved the collard greens (new menu addition!) - chicken was perfect & short rib was delicious and generous portion. Yummy Manhattan’s too.

We came here to visit the Stabin Museum and the artwork was unique and beautifully displayed. The art gallery was amazing. My daughter absolutely loved the Legos and the letters of the alphabet on the wall. Lunch was quite tasty and we had the pleasure of meeting Chef John who was delightful. I will definitely spread the word and look forward to returning in the future for a Sunday Brunch and/or Vic’s jazz loft. Best part, parking lot available.

Gorgeous location, delicious food, amazing service! Arielle was an awesome server and all the staff was very friendly. We had the baked brie and it was the best thing we ate while in Jim Thorpe.

Don’t Sleep on this place!
Take the extra walk or drive.
Our food was soooo yummy.
I had the beef short ribs and my husband had the breaded pork tenderloin. Our drinks were also amazing.
