Café Lemont reviews
19 Great coffee shop. Good selection of drinks and bakery food, some hot food options as well.
Great vibes too.
This is honestly the best coffee shop I have ever been to. It was this place that opened my eyes to just how good coffee can be. I never even liked coffee until I started coming here!
This place has introduced me to so many delicious things. I never liked quiche until I had it here — their quiche is amazing, with a buttery, flakey homemade crust and a generous amount of cheese on top. They bake different quiches based on what’s available, and I’ve enjoyed every quiche I’ve tried, from the potato leek to the broccoli spinach to the ones with butternut and cauliflower.
They also have different soups on rotation that is one better than the next. I had never tried parsnip soup before, but their parsnip soup is so delicious I ordered a bowl in store and one to go! They had a thick black bean soup once that I actually brought home and poured over tortilla chips to make some delicious nachos. I can’t wait until they have their dream of mushroom soup in stock again!
This place has introduced me to so many things and helped me try so many new foods. Everything is delicious! My Dad is a picky eater, and even he loves to come here for the smoked salmon BLT.
I could rave on and on about the food, but what really makes this place special is the people. The owners and staff are great, and they have truly built this place into a cornerstone of the community. They feature art for sale from a different local artist every month, and they source their milk and eggs from local farms. They now have an Amish vendor who brings in fresh doughnuts every Friday.
Overall, this is a wonderful place!
CAFÉ LEMONT- Lemont, Pennsylvania
My sister-in-law, Susan is related to these genuine coffee roaster stewards who own Café Lemont and introduced me to their coffee beans and wow are we so pleased!
I live in Vermont and I have ordered Cafe Lemont’s coffee beans now a bunch of times online and it is the best fresh roasted coffee my husband and I have ever had! Our favorite is the Mt. Nittany flavor. When it is delivered, which is very fast, we noticed that it has been roasted not even a week prior, which is amazing. If their online service is this fantastic I can only imagine they’re adorable shop. Thank you for roasting the best coffee beans. It’s so fresh and delivered always quick when we order! Happy customer here in Vermont!
Love the art, the ambiance, and the LATTES! The granola yogurt was also out of this world. Wonderful little coffee shop
A place that regularly makes you feel like you found your own hidden little nook, Cafe Lemont has great coffee, great staff, great pastries, and is the perfect little spot to get some work done, or talk with friends.
It's such a cute place with the nicest little nooks to take a break and get some breakfast.
Good coffee. Breakfast sandwich was just okay. It wasn't hot and the cheese wasn't melted. I'd go back for coffee.
A small, hole-in-the-wall type of café with amazing coffee, people, and vibes. Lots of cafés exist around State College, but this one just feels like home.
I like the way their coffee is roasted and cakes are good too. The outdoor sitting looks lovely in good weather.
An absolute gem of a cafe. Beautiful interior with several rooms for indoor dining and a huge outside area with additional tables.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The sandwiches, cookies, and drinks are delicious. A must visit if you're in the area. It can get busy, but the line moves quickly.
Enjoyed breakfast with a friend this morning. I had a mocha and their Greek yogurt with homemade granola. The staff was excellent.
Great lunch stop. Nice atmosphere, great drink selection and good food at a nice price not far from State College.
Best Coffee in all of Centre County. Also the location is a great place to relax and read for a bit. Staff is super friendly. Couldn't ask for a better cafe.
Cute place, good ambiance and atmosphere, nice selection of teas. Opens everyday for breakfast and lunch. Will come back.
Great coffee! Wonderful baristas! And always a tasty baked good. They have started carrying Amish donuts on Fri and Sat. They were so good heated in the microwave for 10 seconds as I brewed my coffee. Made my house smell lovely!
I ordered oatmeal with brown sugar and nuts. It served with whole milk and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Their service was wonderful and the earthenware used for serving looks antique and elegant. The only thing I want to point out is that the oatmeal was too dry for me so I have to pack up the remaining back home to finish with more milk.
Best coffe I ever had I am a coffe lover.
Did not expect to be that great
I had the mocha peppermint
My favorite place in Happy Valley. Coffee is fantastic, food is delicious. It's atmosphere is unique and pleasant.
Super-helpful and knowledgeable staff. We four came in (not quite together), two of the group walking with canes. We hadn’t been there before; didn’t know the menu or even what meal we wanted; but the patient staff made ideal suggestions. The food was just right for my traditional 79-year-old mother AND my adventurous foodie sister—how many places can you say that about? We were there until closing time (NOTE: 2 pm) but they didn’t rush us out. Lemont Cafe’s staff took four tired hungry stragglers and turned us into a family having a nice meal in a warm charming atmosphere. Thank you.
