Cafe Lift reviews
19I took one star off because the food took FOREVER to come, but it was amazing. I loved my egg cheesesteak sandwich and my sister’s mushroom toast had a very tasty sauce. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated and all the staff was friendly and attentive.
Great food! The menu is kind of limited and could be expanded. The service could have been better but it was really busy at the time I went so I can't blame them! I've gone other times and had excellent service. Even when it was busy, our wait for a table was less than five minutes. Highly recommend!
Not a bad wait for a seat even on a sunday rush, decent portion sizes, good flavors, I think savory is better/more flavorful and creative than the sweet options. But food takes a long time to arrive when busy. Better to go on weekdays/less busy times if you have less time.
Food was absolutely delicious. We got the blueberry pancakes, lemon ricotta pancakes and Nutella pistachio french toast with canolli cream. All so delicious! Really enjoyed eating outside.cold brew was delish and hit the spot.
The brunch was amazing it’s a great place to go that’s a little less crowded than Sabrina’s or green egg. Only downside is it is LOUD on a Saturday late morning but it’s fun place to go for a great brunch!
Came here for brunch for the first time today. Even though it was at noon on a Sunday and the place was busy, we were seated right away and the service was really prompt.
We got the lemon ricotta pancakes and the eggs benedict, and both dishes were seriously great. I was also really happy that they serve iced coffee.
Fair prices, fast and friendly service, and great food! Can't wait to introduce more friends to this place.
Ate here on 2 different occasions and I hated the food both times. Its a cute place but both my peer and i thought the food was mediocre
I was really excited for this place but was totally disappointed, a portion of my food wasn’t fresh. I had to reorder my food but still it was stale.
Best Huevos outside of a Mexican restaurant with unlimited hot and delicious coffee.
Knocking a star off because it’s VERY loud when it is busy. Management, I would pursue some sound-proofing or acoustic management.
Their food is amazing. Brunch would have been perfect if they turned their music down one notch so you could have a conversation with the rest of your table.
Great comfort food and healthy options. Staff is very nice and accommodating. It is a noisy place and street parking around here is a nightmare.limited parking and one way streets that make it difficult to just go around the corner to look for more spaces. Restaurant is a five.parking drops it to a four.
I'll try it a second time, but I wasn't blown away by the food. The crepe (which they call a "Crespelle". I think.) wasn't bad.it just wasn't good either. It was "meh. " at best. I asked for over medium eggs with american cheese. I got over medium eggs with shredded mozz (in this case, pizza cheese. Not even real mozzarella). There was something floating in my fresh squeezd oj. But it was fresh squezzed.so let's assume it was from an orange (sure hope that was fresh squeezed). My friend said her pancakes weren't good at all, and that the syrup tasted like it had been watered down. The potatoes we're good. There. I found something nice. There it is. My server was very nice as well. She was attentive. Just not attentive to the thing floating in my orange juice.
I am glad I found this little beauty! I took a picture of menu because it describes the fried egg Cheesesteak better than I can. I went to their 2nd location on 13th near Hamilton. BYOB let’s get that out there right away. This is the front runner for next year’s best brunch cheesesteak. Great fun helpful atmosphere which is a direct contrast to the industrial architecture. Breakfast, home fries, cheesesteak meat, cafe lift special sauce and ability to bring my own booze! Love you cafe lift!
If you’re looking for delicious Brunch food? This is the place to go! Great food, ambience and excellent service. Sarah was a very attentive and outgoing friendly waitress. She made everyone in my party feel welcome. Will definitely return on my next trip to Philly, thank you! Must try the Huevos Ranchero, it’s amazing.
This place was AMAZING. My girlfriend and I went to Philadelphia spontaneously for the fourth of July and guessed at where to eat. This place was wall to wall packed. However, the service was exceptional! They sat us immediately, and our server was absolutely lovely and accommodating considering my girlfriend is super picky. We both got the ice coffee which was perfect and we ordered the breakfast burrito which 10/10 would recommend! All the flavors are truly complimentary and make the taste buds go wild! Definitely will come back here again.
Had the lemon ricotta pancake, chicken sausage and scrambled eggs.delightfully!
Nathan was my server.he did good!
First time, but won't be my last!
A preferred place for delicious american food. Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. The bill was fair for the quality of food. Like a restaurant in Washington I loved.
Coffee and food was excellent! Everything was flavorful and outstanding. The canoli French toast was our favorite dessert! Good atmosphere and great friendly service!
Consistent, high quality, delicious food. We have only ordered for pick-up, but the food is most always on point. Have tried most of the food on the savory menu - breakfast burrito a classic fav. A tad expensive, but worth it! Can't wait to try their sweet stuff in-house.
