Cafe Roma Bakery, Philadelphia PA

I ordered a custom cake for my mom’s birthday, the cake was neatly decorated, reasonably priced, and so delicious! It was moist and light and everyone wanted to know where it was from. A great local bakery!

I come here about once a week, the family that works there/owns it is very helpful and kind. The donuts are definitely the best in the area and you can find quite the assortment of Italian pastries and cookies. They also have every pie flavor imaginable. I appreciate the consistency and quality of this shop and the kindness of the customers and owners.

Cafe Roma has the best atmosphere and food! My day is always better after going here for some yummy treats and good conversation. Mario and Johnny are the best!

The pastries were incredible. We were only going to have a quick cup of coffee and a treat, but we stayed for the sweetest conversation. Love the family that runs the place.

Always get the powdered vanilla cream filled donuts and the jelly donuts! Smooth fruity filling and creamy vanilla yumness! Actually, on second thought, don't get those. They sell out quickly on weekends and I don't want to miss out!

I stumbled upon Cafe Roma when my dad requested an Italian cream cake for his birthday. It's hard to find a good, authentic Italian bakery anymore.well the cake got rave reviews.

I went back in March for St Joseph's cakes and MUST SAY THEY WERE THE BEST ST JOE'S CAKES MY FAMILY HAS EVER HAD. We get them every year and most bakeries don't make them authentic. Cafe Roma's pastries were INSANE. Fresh dough, the ricotta filling is amazing. Looking forward to Easter cannoli!

Cafe Roma is a family owner operated establishment. They treat all customers like family. The quality is exceptional!

This is a lovely little bakery with a wide variety of pastries. We finally came here after moving to the area a year ago and we were not disappointed! The person who helped us was very kind and patient in describing each of their items. We will definitely be back!

The doughnuts were so soft and fresh.

The Italian pastries tasted right out of little Italy. Better then the ones I’ve tried from the marketplace downtown.

Only downfall…. They do not take cards. It’s cash only.

So it was my first time going in. I only had my debit card and they are cash only! The fellas working the counter gave me coffee for free which I was not expecting. Good to see nice business owners in this area, it really made my day! Also, there was a fiddle player in here which really added to the experience. Next time I'm taking cash and I really want to try their danish. Cool spot!

Just moved here from California, probably one of the best Italian bakeries I’ve ever been to outside of Italy! The prices are extremely fair for what you’re getting too
