Lovely place to sit, talk and eat yummy food. My husband and I come for our "date" breakfasts or lunch.

This a great place to go if your in the Chestnut Hill area. I’ve been here a few different times, and it hasn’t disappointed yet. The food is always delish and the customer service was great. You do have to order al la carte, but it’s worth it. Only downside is the space. The area is compact but I love that it’s in the back of a florist. A good place if you’re dining solo or with a group.

We love Cake and now love it even more! We recently wound up there after waiting an hour for a breakfast that never came at Breakfast Boutique (we left, something we've literally never done before!). Cake would have been our first choice, but we were hungry and expected a wait (understandable, given the quality of their food and their excellent service). After the bad experience at the Boutique, we made our way to Cake, both of us weak with hunger (not exaggerating - our blood sugar had plummeted). Fortunately, our timing was perfect and we were seated quickly. The waitstaff at Cake is extremely professional; we have never had a long wait for our food at Cake, so waiting for a table is well worth it. And their food is EXCELLENT! My favorite is the breakfast burrito. I also usually share the fruit bowl with my husband as a starter; it is always fresh and a lovely seasonal variety. Love, love, love Cake!

The place is called Cake. Order the cake. I ordered a birthday cake and it was perfection. The buttercream isn't too sweet, the cake tasted like pound cake and it was perfect, and the raspberry filling made me smile. Brunch is delish too. But the cake is top notch. Will be ordering cakes from here more now.did I say Cake?
