Cakes & Scones Bakery, Greentown PA

Stopped here while driving back home after visiting Pocono Pines. Charming little bakery that served amazing scones with a warm, friendly smile.

This place was so cute. I went here with my friends and we all loved the deserts! I would go here again any day. Please if you want really good desserts go here. They are also so nice!

This bakery is Amazing! Best baked goods in the area. My favorite is the mini cheesecakes!

Went here with my mother in law to get a cake for my father in laws birthday place is very cute. Everyone inside is very nice and helpful they have an assortment of brownies, cinnamon buns, dashes and all sorts of cakes and desserts and food. They also have hot coffee that you can order. Overall we liked the place a lot.

AMAZING, If I could give 6 stars I would. Stopped for a cake for a party and left with a beautiful pie that everyone raves about. The service was wonderful.

We happened upon this place while out exploring the PA countryside. Super friendly people. We got coffee and cookies to go.

The coffee was good, but the cookies were a disappointment. They had that refrigerator taste, like they absorbed that odd refrigerator odor. The peanut butter cookie wasn’t as bad, but still had the strange taste. The chocolate chip cookies were essentially inedible.
I’m sure fresh they are delicious.

Pastries are very good. Tried Danish, scones, flour less chocolate bars and pecan bars. All we're very tasty.

About a week ago, my wife and I stopped into this bakery while out for a ride. Bought more than 30.00 worth of a variety of products. The pear tart was very freezer burned, so when we got home (about an hour away), we called and told the person who answered that the pear tart was freezer burned. They said they would have the owner call us back. The owner never called back. Happened to be out that way again today, so we stopped in to purchase some more of the products that were good.and mentioned the pear tart being freezer burned. Since we had called only about an hour after purchasing it last time, we expected to be reimbursed for it.or have it replaced. They refused to give any credit for the poor quality pastry we had to throw away, explaining that they only give credit if you return the product to them immediately. We were not going to drive an hour back to the bakery to return it.so we decided not to purchase the items we were going to get today.which would have nearly 60.00! So.they have lost a large sale, lost a customer and I will be putting this on all review sites I can find to warn other people. You cannot trust this bakery to back up their product. I am in my 60's and have never complained to a bakery about their product before.but this was severely freezer burned. They even lied and said they don't freeze their baked goods. Sorry.but I know freezer burn when I taste it. Not worth taking a chance on whether or not what they are selling is good or horrible. Don't waste your money.

Just spent over $20. For a cheese Danish with hardly any cheese in it and 6 rock hard Christmas cookies, all after being waited on by an ill-informed counter person with an attitude that didn't think the yellow Christmas cookie was lemon flavored (it was). Used to be a good bakery, isn't now.
