Cambria County Library reviews
13I put a book on hold back in October and was told I'm third on list. I called the middle of November and was told I'm still third on list. I asked for a call when the book came back. It's now January 4th and they told me my name was taken off the list because I never responded back. I check my caller ID and voice mail every day and the library never called me. I'm very disappointed with my experience! So the hell with the library, I'll buy the book!
They do have printers and it does cost you a dime for a copy but if you go into the career link which is in the Johnstown library the career link does not charge you a dime for any copies it's free and they will fax things for you for free they are also very helpful
I did the Bookworm geocache here and needed a little help finding the final stage while inside. The call numbers were completely out of order on the shelves that I had to look on so I asked the two ladies (Emily and Leah I think we’re their names) that were working and they easily helped me find what I needed. Both were extremely friendly.
I learn so much especially from the non fiction DVD’s available at the library. I love this library!
I really like it a lot it's a really good place to go to read books n just have some alone n down time.
This library has the most helpful and nicest librarians. They have good hours as well as a wide selection of book genres. Most impressed with the non fiction section having early editions.
It's a library that's filled not only books, but a caring dedicated staff. They are helpful when you have problems.
This is a really great library. They have a ton of information, media and services for about every age and need.
Great customer service they help you with the computers if you don't know what you're doing they practically will do it for me I think they're wonderful people
I am very upset that the library is still closed. Everyone else is open why can't you? I'm sorry but I'm a student and I used your facility all the time and was very happy when I heard we was going green there is no reason for you to stay closed if its because your employees don't want to work then find new employees OPEN THE LIBRARY.
Library has social distance set up and staff is super friendly like normal. They are not accepting book donations atm but hopefully that can change soon.
This time would be lost without our great little Library. It is run very professionally even with the Advent pandemic all around us.
What a nice place to relax and fill your mind with information. Careerlink will go out of they're way to help you (located in the rear of the 1st floor) Thank you
