Camelback Mountain Adventures reviews
11It is a very clean and neat place. The one thing that is weird is that all trails lists some hikes through there that are on the road. There is also no sidewalk there. So you see lots of family groups walking around on the roads, looking for a place where there are trees on each side of them rather than cars on one side and a curb on the other. However, you can drive to the top and see a nice view. Great place to take an elder for a great view.
Very bad staff. They write on website everything is open but when you arrive everything is closed and all they do is they are very nasty to you,
I don’t even want to give one star. I spoke to someone from camelback mountain adventure on Monday to see if I should book an slot to go zip lining for Tuesday and they said I shouldn’t book an reservation. We traveled an hour and a half to get to camelback and they turned us away saying that they don’t have any more appointments for another two hours. The thing that disappointed us the most was that they told us the day before not to book a reservation! I do not recommend this place.
The girls enjoyed it. It is for the adventurous of heart. Today 4/28/19, there were no lines. So we got through very quickly. It is a long walk to the Zip line. However, there is a need for more signs to tell the visitors where to go to purchase tickets and how to get there. Also if you have thick thighs, you will have a problem finding a harness. They only stock small, medium and ONE large.
Fun for the whole family! Camelback is very well organized when it comes to dealing with crowds. There is one building where you purchase everything you need. There is a different building with separate areas where you check in, get your skis and helmet and then move on to your boots and poles. Since this was my first time going skiing in a long time, my stress level was high, but Camelback's great staff and organization reduced it rather quickly. The three of us all had 90 minute lessons and had the rest of the day to ourselves. We were definitely tired after a couple hours, but we can't wait to go again. The prices were a little more then expected, but parking is free if you don't mind walking a bit. Everything is so well placed that you don't feel cramped or uncomfortable. There are definitely closer places, but we loved Camelback Mountain!
Even as an adult, this was such a great park to play in. All the attractions were enjoyable, the facility was well lit and clean. The lifeguards were friendly an attentive. I was especially impressed by Gio. He was in a fairly large zone and it was apparent that he was managing to stay aware of what was going on in all the sections of his water. I will be sure to visit again.
No lodge to warm up, get a hot drink, or facilities. Plus, parking is like a half a mile away and only accessible via old school bus shuttle.
Camelback Moutain is awesome for trips with family and friends. I personally go during the winter to snowboard with friends every year. They're a complete resort with an indoor water park. As far as pricing for those accommodations. I'm not actually sure. I don't stay at the resort so i can't answer that but it looks really nice.
These are the greatest workout, and you barely feel like you're exercising! It's so much fun to go in a group and laugh at each other's struggles- the next day you won't know if your newfound abs are from the strenuous exercise or from laughter! But don't worry! There's something for all levels and really feasible no matter what your normal day activity levels are.i definitely suggest giving these a go!
We have season passes and visit often. We have a great time. I have only two small things to say.
Clean up the big piles of beer cans that litter the experience. Granted the cans are not on the trails but it is an eyesore to see them week after week. Get a bag, get the snow mobile, drive up to the piles and get rid of them. We have been coming since opening weekend and no attempt to fix this has been made.
Second train the lift guys better. We are an odd number in our family with two small children. My older son I can usually find someone to ride up the lift with but twice this month I have been forced to trust the lift guy to close the bar for my little man and twice I was forced to ride up behind him with my heart in my throat praying that he doesn't move and fall out. The bar is too high for him to reach so I have asked the lift guys to make sure it gets put down. They don't know how to do this from the back and don't have enough time from the front. Better training would solve this and make a better experience for all.
Thank you for the good time but you can make it better for all.
