Camelback Snow tubing reviews
6While the snow tubing was fun, the organization, efficiency and signage is terrible for new comers. There are better methods that could be incorporated to increase the number of times you actually get to go snow tubing down the hill.
Terrible experience. Went last year to tube & wasnt a great time. Decided to give it a second chance. Got 5 kids bundles in snowsuits, drove there, parked, walked there, signed waivers.sold out for the entire day. It would have been helpful if they had staff at the entrance of the parking lot advising people of that. Rather than waste more of their time. Will never go back.
Lots of fun!
This was our second visit. Got there a little late (a little before 2pm) and the line was all the way to the parking lot. To our surprise, the line moved pretty fast and we were at the ticket window within 30 mins, being able to get tickets for the 4pm start. (I believe there is an option to purchase tickets online, which will save you the wait in line)
Once we started, it was very crowded. Imagine waiting in line for 10-15 minutes, to go down the slope for max 30 seconds. But the kids didn't mind the wait, kept busy playing with the snow and enjoyed the whole experience.
Love going tubing here, the setup is very nice, you can also chain tubes together with friends/family. Each lane remains the same even in the slow down braking area. No one is allowed down the slope till everyone cllears the bottom. Very safe!
Altho there were alot of people, the lines moved fast. We got probably about 5 to 6 runs per hour. I would def go back again
Moving sidewalk type thing to get up the hill was very dangerous, many people fell. Very crowded. You'll get one trip down per hour. It's $40 for 3 hours. Not worth it. I hear Big Boulder is much better and cheaper.
